How would you categorize Lee & Sakura (prodigies or geniuses)?

Both Sakura & Lee are unparelled in their select speciality of Ninjutsu (Sakura's being Medical Ninjutsu & Lee's being Taijutsu) to the point of being compared too their respective masters (who at one time were also unparelled & renowned in the same particular class of ninjutsu) at young ages. Examples would be:

- Sakura mastering Medical Ninjutsu in only three years, out classing every medical ninja in the sand village and performing Byakugo with only 3 years of training.

- Lee opening then using the ultimate technique in Taijutsu (8 gates) before becoming a chunin.

So based on the above what would you categorize them as?

Prodigies (1) a person, especially a young one, endowed with exceptional qualities or abilities. (2) an impressive or outstanding example of a particular quality.

Or

Geniuses (1) exceptional intellectual or creative power or other natural ability. (2) a person who is exceptionally intelligent or creative, either generally or in some particular respect.

I wouldn't put Sakura in any of these categories to be honest. Lee was far more impressive. He learned to master the Gates at an early age. I would categorize Lee as a prodigy.

Nope I actually read the manga and realize her flaws as a character. She is not a prodigy who learned her skillset quickly nor is she a genius who did something creative compared to her master. Her character was overall average to below average. Lee on the other hand showed far more promise as a shonobi at an early age. This thread is actually an insult to his character. You should stick to wanking Lee seperatly instead of mixing him with a character whose not even in his category.

So she isn't a genius when it come to medical ninjutsu? Lol I wouldn't call her a prodigy becuase that's a privileged adjective but in the feild of medical ninjutsu she is hands down a genius and a pioneer.

I wouldn't call Sakura a genius. Is there a scan of someone referring to her as such? I feel like Tsunade would have, if Sakura was really that good. Yeah, they're impressed by her ability to attain Byakagou, but they never call it prodigious or genius. She's very smart, and she's very talented as a medical-nin, but she has yet to invent her own jutsus or improve upon them, which, imo, is a requirement to be called either a prodigy or a genius.

Same goes for Lee. He worked hard to master the Gate releases that he can release, but we don't actually know how impossible that is. Most ninja don't do it because of the costs of doing so, and they have other options that are less risky and overspecialized. And similarly, I don't think he's improved upon the 8 Gates or anything besides doing what Gai taught him.

I like both of these characters, I'm not hating, but I think terms like prodigy and genius aren't for them. Kind of invalidates their hard work, even. They got to that skill level solely because they worked hard, not because they were particularly gifted (although Sakura was always book-smart).

She is not a odinary girl. She is a talented girl. Back in part 1 she was said to be gifted in chakara control. She was ahead of Naruto and Sasuke in the tree climbing training. Her test scores were also very good. She was known to being book smart early on.

Reason is because he worked hard and picked up skills that would normally take years in a month or two plus he was a taijutsu master at age 14.

Sakura=Failure/Crybaby
Reason is because all she did was think she was the best but in reality she was a terrible failure at everything all she could do was stand their and gasp like Kigome from Inuyasha. When she got older plot buffed her and due to Naruto helping her out indirectly she was able to learn something from the 5th. Bringing me to another point all she could do at the same age Lee mastered Taijutsu and 5/8 of the celestial gates all Sakura could do was control her chakra well. Which is natural considering her genjutsu type chakra nature.

An example of what makes her a genius is the fact that she was instantly gave a descriptive annotation of Sasori's poison; how it worked and what it was composed of, CREATED the Dellicate Illness Extraction Technique (which is my cellular chakra control) then created a antidote. Mind you, Chiyo had over 40 years of toxin experience and was renowned for the body count it racked up, yet Sasori's poison was way over her head to the point of her admitting that there was nothing she could do.

Thats not being a genius that is basically being good at what you are trained for. Just because she can do her job as a medicial ninja does not mean she is a genius. Plus your very own description doesn't fit this category. So lets not over exggerate something she is actually trained for.

I have addressed both of these statements already to another user here. I said she was talented. What she isn't is a genuis or prodigy. And also if you are gonna seriously compare part 1 Sakura to Lee you will lose this battle. Lee showed far more talent than Sakura.

I have enough brain power in my disposal to see through your arguements. I do not need your approval or disaproval to post in threads. I too was one time a Sakura fan so my opinions of her are not biased. They are actually to the point.
