When a dude dresses up like Archer and shoots up an office building, that's an avatar version/guns blazing version of themselves. We never agreed to play along.
The woman who says "I'm a cat" has a cat avatar. We are not playing along.
My avatar is a high version of myself and the world never plays along. It's always, "are you high" and they NEVER accept "no this is really me!"
My best friend (RIP) had a female avatar. And once a month when the check came in he would dress up as a woman (he even had breast augmentation surgery) and go to a certain club or two. I would go with him too because it suited my drinking and I loved him as a friend.
