Yah, really. They have 4 Belgians in their team and for the neutral football fan you can't do anything but sympathize with them. Every country has like that team that's considered to be quite good, but never seems to be getting the momentum to become champion. In the Premier League that would be Tottenham.
Also I think it's fair to say that Tottenham actually deserves it more. Leicester had a terrific season, but you can't really deny that their reserves have been running thin for a while now. One of the reasons why Leicester was able to maintain the 1st place so long, is because they did what most top teams fail at and that's winning against the lesser teams. It's often the case that the champion is not decided by matches between the top teams, but how these teams fair against the lesser teams. However how many times has Leicester won with 1-0 the past few months?
Also the bickering rivalry between the fans of all the teams of London, leaves me Siberian.
I want the Spurs to win. If Tottenham wouldn't be that close, I also would have supported for Leicester simply because something like this doesn't happen often, but you got to be a bit realistic here. Leicester's team likely will be plundered when the season is over and I wouldn't be surprised if next year they would be playing to not end back up in the Championship. Tottenham on the other hand has been trying to become champion for decades now. It would be extremely painful when they are finally so close, they were beaten by a team that just happened to have one ridiculously good year.
