Why didn't Sasuke awaken the rinnegan in both eyes?

He had all the basic requirements fulfiiled so why did he get the rinnegan in one eye only? Shouldn't he have gotten rinnegan in both eyes ? Could that somehow be the reason he hasn't been shown to use all the paths?

Some people are under the belief Sasukes one rinnegan is half power of the rinnegan and that Sasuke needs two rinnegan to awaken the full power. That's simply not true because in the manga there were only ever two people who awakened the rinnegan besides the SO6P that was Madara and Sasuke.

When Madara awakened his rinnegan he was granted two eyes so it makes since why he would need both his eyes to be at full power.



Sasuke on the other hand only awakened his rinnegan in only one eye(Tomoe Rinnegan) so he doesn't need both eyes for his to be at full power. His full rinnegan power was awakened within only one of his eyes and we saw how quickly he was able to grasp its power in the short time he had it.



Another misconception is that Sasuke doesn't have the six path but we know for a fact he does because he used Deva, Preta and Outerpath in the short time he had it. Ameno is also one of his unique abilities which means he has the full power of the rinnegan granted to him and his rinnegan is not someone elses like Nagato who was unable to access Madaras limbo power.

He would've been overpowered if he awakened tomoe rinnegan in both eyes. Tomoe rinnegan = double rinnegan and can use sharingan abilities. He haves a sharingan with 3 tomoe, and a rinnegan with 6 tomoe. It's a total of 9 tomoe.

I honestly see no plot-based logical reason that it should be a RinneSharingan in a single eye. Even Hagoromo, the child born with the Juubi's chakra directly didn't have a RinneSharingan.

Because his eye is a devolved RinneSharingan. He doesn't have the Shinju's power so his Rinnegan didn't fully evolve into Kaguya's dojutsu.
