I remember when naruto shouldn't have been able to move vs gaara and not only did he move but head butted the latter. what that seventh hokage can do when he's motivated to

Alright you're fanboying too hard. Naruto himself stated that if they moved too much they would bleed out. If Naruto tried anything, he would've died.

Naruto wasn't on the verge of death against Gaara, he was against Sasuke, two completely difference scenarios. Indra and Ashura fought until they died because they were equal, Naruto and Sasuke fought until they almost died because they were equal.
The fight was a draw because they were both passed out on the brink of dying, because their power is equal. Sasuke lost the battle of wills not the actual fight.

There was a time when Sasuke wouldn't listen to Naruto's word because he considered him weaker, while actually they're pretty close, but Naruto defeated him comprehensively to convince him of his strength.
So, maybe VOTE2 was ended in a draw but Sasuke witnessed Naruto's immense potential during the war and admitted...

Well the majority of SB often read my threads, I had to put pretty pictures with vibrant colors so even they could understand.
I applaud you for doing that. Now if only we can find something that Sasuke fappers can understand.
Good to know OP forgot Sasuke had also depleted a lot of his chakras before and was suffering from over-usage of his Rinnegan as well.
It's not as if Sasuke was panting excessively from attempting to escape Kaguya's dimension or was suffering from the effects of the Rinnegan where he had to wait until his powers have returned. I get it, Naruto was at a disadvantage, but lets not cherrypick specific things to wank our faves. There's a reason why Kishimoto admitted they were equals and this fight represents just that.
