He didn't need any time to master it to begin with, he had already mastered using bijuu chakra and NE way before the Kaguya arc and on top of that he had understanding of all things thanks to RSM.

If you read the DB you will see that RSM gave him the ability to use his powers without training or practice, in contrast Sasuke needed time to learn how to use his dojutsu.

No need to move your hand, just a gentle nudge using your legs should be enough without moving the injured hand at all.
