Do any of you ever wonder where Boruto's ability to throw rasengan stem? I personally believe it originates from two things.

One is the fact he is half Hyuuga and possess the ability to expel chakra from all tenketsu, I guess Imagine he unconsciously expelled the rasengan from his hand.

The second reason I believe its simply the wind release he combines with his technique making it invisible to even the rinnegan.

I really hope kishi's assistant elaborates more, so far Boruto already possess an extremely haxxed technique and it's only the beginning. :sigar:

Actually it's because of plot.

Naruto couldn't throw the Rasenshuriken because he couldn't keep the chakra contained and self-sustaining. It took an entire shell of Senjutsu and later Kyuubi Chakra to keep it together after it left his hand.

But knowing you, you'll take it to mean that Boruto has SM level chakra in base as a Genin that he can use unconsciously. U_U

Is that so far fetched? I mean look whom his parents are. :sigar:

Your first point's actually pretty good but your second one isn't. Unless the new manga says otherwise, you get Rasenshuriken by adding fuuton to a rasengan so the idea of Boruto adding fuuton turns his rasengan invisible and lets it be thrown is ridiculous and not based in any reasoning.

No you get futon rasengan if you simply add wind to a rasengan.

This, nice post netflix. Chopstick I don't believe you understand how the rasengan when combined with elements work. Perhaps you should reread Naruto's wind release training arc.

The Rasenshuriken is Fuuton + Rasengan + Chakra Shape Manipulation(Shuriken), Fuuton Rasengan is simply Fuuton + Rasengan. :sigar:

I know what Prodigal means, however I used the term Prodigal Son. Parable to jesus. :sigar:
I am aware, and I'm telling you that you, along with most people, are misusing the word prodigal, as you use it to refer to a son who has lost his way and come back when in reality it refers to someone who is frivolous and wasteful with their money, as the Prodigal Son in the Bible was.

Well Boruto did hate his father but In the end formed a very strong loving bond with him. Also Boruto always looked for shorcuts/cheats and now he relies on his own merits and hardwork.

I believe the term Prodigal Son applies perfectly, however thats my opinion and doesn't concern you. :sigar:

I think it's a combination of these two skills:

Boruto combines Wind Release with his normal tiny Rasengan and throws it like Naruto with his Rasenshuriken....

Now the term Prodigal Son in the bible explains how a young boy squandered his inheritance and returned home only to be accepted by his father.

My comparison was that Boruto squandered his reputation as a shinobi by cheating and looking for shortcuts. In the end he learned from his mistakes and his father accepted him as a true shinobi. :sigar:

What I believe is very hax about his Rasengan is the vanishing part of it. Even if the enemy has SM, they can't sesnse it. Momoshiki who had all the power/chakra individually it was more than Naruto and Sasuke still got hit by his Rasengan. When he starts incorporating his wind style change of nature into his Rasengan he'd be as OP as Sarada with the 3T.

Main reason is because its movie. People who were producing this movie arent hardcore naruto fans like we. Mistake like this is normal.
