Nothing really says that they are impossible to kill, they are beings made out of chakra, right? So there probably is a way, but I doubt Sasuke knew the correct way as he just received the Rinnegan was acting like a straight up bawss. He probably thought there was no limitations anymore tbh

Considering that they're basically masses of chakra with a solid form, and chakra is immortal, it can me assumed that they are. Although they do show the ability to age, it's probably only 1 year per every 100.

They can die but they respawn, theoretically back into their baby forms. I would think sasuke would just eliminate them, respawn and capture the youngins
