concentrate your chakra harder try clearing your mind and picturing two currents of wind rubbing against each other and as they grind away the edges begin to get sharper and sharper, so try to focus your chakra into that concept.

by creating a gust of wind by concentrating your charges release a stream of wind to pick up sand and as its abit to pick the sand up make the hand seals *shows you each hand seal* and then send the dusty wind at the tree to rub away the bark (this will show the power of the technique)
