The boom was a Shadow Clone disappearing :| The NE was sent to Naruto in that instant, but it wasn't visible.

Naruto didn't balance all of that natural energy with his base reserves. It was balanced with the chakra of Naruto's Six Paths Sage Mode which consists of Kurama & the remnants of the other 8 Biju.

If JJ Madara had 5x more chakra than Naruto then he wouldn't need the Shinju's power in the first place. Naruto is an Ashura incarnate and therefore has better control of NE and logically superior Six Paths Senjutsu, without the tree Madara's RSM is inferior just like how his Rinnegan is inferior to Sasuke's.

You don't even have to read the manga to know who has more chakra. If Naruto has one Tailed Beast how does he even come close to someone who has all nine? Not to mention it's been stated that the ten-tails is greater than the sum of it's parts and includes an immeasurable amount of nature energy.

Remember, he became as powerful as sasuke with Kurama always holding him down. the only time he benefited from Kurama is when he's dying. so moot point if they say "kurama saves him" because Kurama is the one that gets him killed so that Naruto is forced to use him so he can try to breakout.
