Re: So I've seen Batman V Superman

I agree with you on Superman. Even though I have never been a fan of him this movie manages to make me feel sorry for him, by taking the hostility and fear for him in Man of Steel to a new level. I respect him for choosing to sacrifice himself despite all these, more than the sacrifice made by Bale Batman in TDK.

As a Batman fan, I also find this more cynical, ruthless version of him satisfying and refreshing. One can see how Alfred's quote describes him so concisely. The scene when he realized Clark has a mother named Martha is quite powerful. It's almost as if he realized Superman, an alien, also has a human side and not as much as a threat he thought to be, realizing he lost his sense out of rage and fear. When he directed his rage towards the kidnappers to save Martha Kent it feels like he's partly driven by his frustration for his inability to save his mom in the past and was therefore determined to prevent the loss of another "Martha" at all cost.

The entire movie is pretty much spoiled for me already, I took the risk of GOING OUT for Man of steel, it was OK. Will wait for this one to come out on dvd, or just pirate it.

Re: So I've seen Batman V Superman

My friend not recommend me to watch it. They said it was boring. As first half is mere talk than action. Is it true? Or i should try it out?

No no, watch it. Maybe the first part is not only fighting, but remember that The Godfather has ultra big talking parts and it's still an awesome trilogy.

Yes First half was boring for me second part was interesting but some fight scenes were meh tbh and the guy who played Lex Luthor was good.
One time watch :)

I liked all the fights :) maybe I would have made Superman dominating Batman for more time before getting nerfed by kryptonite, but it's OK

lol It's literally critics vs audience :lmao:

I liked it too. Affleck should cheer up.

Lol, I liked Affleck, he's not that unsuitable for Batman as I used to think, when his Batman is based on the one from Miller's works :)

R.I.P. In Peace, Superman. I'm sure the most iconic superhero in the DC Franchise is going to stay dead after all that Jesus Imagery.

Frankly, I prefer this way. He died in glory, he gained the respect of everybody including Batman. Hope that Justice League guys can worthily replace him.

I will watch the movie.

Batman > Superman

Watch it. Even the biggest Superman hater couldn't avoid to change his mind a little after seeing this movie

I gotcha buddy I'm going today :)

Tell us what you think :)

Yeah, that scene was full of pathos, indeed. It was the scene I appreciated Batman more, when Bruce turns a hero after being somewhat of an antagonist. I admit I'm more for Nolan's Batman, the only one that can make me really appreciate that character. But it's just a matter of taste. I wonder what could happen if the two versions of Batman face each other.

In my opinion this is way better than Man of Steel. In the cinema it's way better tho

Them reviewers need to go EAD! They all comparing it to Marvel movies. This is a DC movie, shit ain't suppose to be funny, entertaining, and friendly.

That movie is lovely.. Gonna go see it again today! Batman was ruthless and brutal. Dude was fed up! I already know he killed the joker already. The joker in suicide squad is ROBIN!

I actually enjoyed the movie quite a lot myself! I really disliked Lex Luthor, but hey, that's what villains
are for. Still, I don't think the movie version of Lex Luthor is even close to the real thing.

Btw, I watched the whole thing and didn't see anything about Aquaman, Cyborg, or Darkseid? So what
exactly are you referencing when you said they made cameos?

Hold on a second, in the final scene of the movie, they show the dust move. I'm almost certain that Superman is still
alive and is gonna hop out in the next movie.

Even in comics, Superman has been 'killed' by Doomsday like in the movie but really was on the brink of death
and came back to life before.

So I'm not mad!! I thought I saw bad even because after a nanosecond they put the credits. Lol we will see, that would be the apotheosis of Superman-Jesus

Aquaman, Cyborg, and Flash were seen when Diane was clicking on the metahuman files Bruce sent her. Darkseid was alluded at by the flying creatures in Bruce's dream and by Luthor at the end of the movie

I am also with you on that one. Batman's character and psychology are better developed in the TDK series, while BvS does more justice to his power and fighting skills. To be fair, Nolan dedicated 3 solo films to accomplish that task, whereas BvS was given limited time to do the same, especially when he is not the only focus and a lot has happened to him prior to the main events in the plot (e.g. dead Robin). So I can't tell whose Batman I like more yet.

If the two of them meet I imagine Bale would try to TNJ Batfleck of his extreme methods while the latter would either succumb to it or be too stubborn to listen and proceed the beat the sh!t out of the former xd

He said it was terrible and I agree. It was senseless; there's been one canon fight between Supes and Batman, using kryptonite and the armour, yet he still got nowhere despite Supes making no effort and being mind controlled. Another ballsed up movie that acts as if Batman is anywhere close to him. A real kick in the teeth to canon, and reinforcing the public myth.

Besides the terrible pacing and score of course.
