Extra: Inb4 people say he lost to butterfly mode Choji - Nah he only lost because he wasn't full powered. He was fatigued from his previous battle + being on the run constantly, and hardly refueled any chakra from Naruto, and co. If Jirobo was 100% he would have beaten Butterfly Mode Choji, or atleast stalemated.

The dome doesn't absorb chakra fast enough to absorb the impact of CES at a moment's notice. Not to mention CES worked against Madara and Kaguya despite them having the ability to absorb chakra.

Madara never used preta path against tsunade but even if he had, her hits would've still been substantial.

CES is internal chakra buildup, rasengan is external chakra build up so the two don't even compare to the same degree when it comes to getting absorbed as the external chakra will be easier to absorb.
