What is the difference between Tsukuyomi and Infinite Tsukuyomi?

Is there some kind of difference between the two, or is Infinite Tsukuyomi simply a normal Tsukuyomi projected onto the moon? Or maybe Infinite Tsukuyomi is more powerful than the average Tsukuyomi because it is initiated with a RinneSharingan eye rather than a normal Mangekyou Sharingan eye?

I was asking this because I noticed that B was caught in Infinite Tsukuyomi, despite the fact that Jinchuruuki are suppose to be immune to genjutsu as long as their tailed beast wakes them up from it. Would this have been the same case with a normal Tsukuyomi like Itachi's? Or was B only captured under the genjutsu because Infinite Tsukuyomi is stronger and captured both him and his tailed beast?

The only counter to Tsukuyomi is sharing the same blood as the jutsu caster. Being a Perfect JJ is no counter.

And Tsunade/Sakura also is immune to both Tsukuyomi and Infite Tsukuyomi.

Itachi's Tsukuyomi is more than likely stronger, based on the fact it focuses all it's ill terms on one candidate, while IT focuses on the vast majority. Tsukuyomi shits on Perfect Jins that's been a known fact.

It does? I didn't know that. I thought that the only Jinchuruuki put under normal Tsukuyomi was Naruto, and he didn't break free because Kurama wasn't compliant at that time.

How do you react to something that takes place in one second physically, but mentally lasts 3 days?

Um...I don't know. I didn't even say anything about reacting in the post you quoted.

Edit: Oh, never mind. I just read the misconceptions part of that link above. But I disagree. I don't think that it is a matter of the jinchuruuki reacting, they can't react to such a fast acting jutsu. However, I was under the impression that breaking free relies on the tailed beast within them, who isn't placed under genjutsu even if it's host is.

Peep this thread if you don't believe Tsukuyomi > Perfect Jin.

Well nice thread, but that still doesn't make it manga fact. Provide panels where a perfect jin has fallen under tsukiyomi and failed to escape and then we'll talk...till then its fanfic.

(IT) seems to be just a dream jutsu on the world with less control over the victims mind. Where as Tsukuyomi is more potent in terms of the caster can put whatever he wants on you.

Godtachi showed pain when he used tsukuyomi against opponents while (IT) just appears to be a dream world, no control on the dream. Only way (IT) has bad effects is if the victims themselves are having bad dreams. (An the fact that held to long in (IT) will turn you into zetsu)
