Heroes No Killing Rule Is So Stupid

Now i can see petty little stuff like minor robber's or drug abuser's. yeah it'll be wrong.

But when the heroes in these comics and show's refuse to kill people like The joker, lex luthor.

Then it's just sooo dumb.

They're obviously too far gone. There's no prison harsh enough to set them right, no punishment cruel enough to feed their conviction.

Supergirl and Robin was right.

Robin was right about Joker. Allowing him to live is basically you handing him the gun and watch him pull the trigger.

The joker blew up a school full of children. Yet Batman feel's he should live?? Tf?

and Supergirl was right about Lex.

he's an egotistical power hungry maniac who put's nothing before his own personal interest. There's no line he wont cross to get what he want's. he would sacrifice millions if he had to.

If you valued life then you would do at nothing to protect it right?

Supes and B-Man act like they got a restart button.

As Anubis said, the characters don't kill the villains not for the villains but for themselves. Batman's already said he could and should probably just kill the Joker but if he starts making excuses to justify one he'll keep coming with reasons to justify future murders. You may not agree with it but that is the logic behind the character also a bit of the old adage blood begets blood, killing Joker will only create an opening for something worse.

Nah, seriously, I guess that it's because if a hero killed a villain everytime a villain appears, they'd need to really explain how the hell these super-powered vilains keeps appearing and stuff. Or rather, the Batman example was already justified but I can see why Superman wouldn't want to kill Lex, really. I mean, Lex is a very important man in Metropolis (and the country/world in general) and killing him would probably quickly makes the big titles, he doesn't want to be seen as a **** who killed a normal man or something.

Even if say normal man has tech that can match him but heh.

Killing... necessary? You mean as self-defense? In that way, yes. However, they are looking for a fight. So in a crazy-weird way, the Hero's provoked them.
