Perhaps that's why Togashi packs a ton of content in each chapter with the latest arc. His mother spoken out recently during an interview and she said he already has several chapters completed. The site is dead but whatever... he did do some signings recently and even a drawing of Gon last month:

What? Lol, no, the 20th anniversary of the manga is March 2018. You see how Cardcaptor Sakura is celebrating it's 20th anniversary in 2016 for a manga published in 96'? I honestly don't know how you got this year as the 20th anniversary.

What's with the attitude? I never intended on implying that your life revolves around anime/manga. I was just offering other options.

And as I said the 20 year is starting soon ( April 2016 to March 2017). That's the math I did and that's why I said that 2017 will be the 20th anniversary. What Cardapter Sakura is doing is not my concern but they probably are celebrating ending of the 20 year after it ended. while I mentioned beginning. I didn't say the 20 year was over but that it was starting.

And you don't seem to notice how this advice : "there are other manga/animes to check in the mean while" comes off, when someone is complaining about hiatuses. I did NOT say that I didn't know what would I do, if the next issue didn't come out. So, telling me I could do that was off putting and uncalled for.

Anyway. 'Hope the wait is worth it and we do get to seen an ending some day.

Yeah, and I'm telling you that it isn't starting soon. It's still 2 years away. That Cardcaptor Sakura example should be of your concern if you can't figure out HxH's 20th anniversary correctly. No, CS is celebrating 20 years since publication (1996 of May is when the first chapter debuted). So if a series that's 2 years older than HxH is celebrating it's 20th anniversary this year, when will HxH celebrate it then? 2 years later from this year!

That math is wrong. You shouldn't be counting 1998 as a year. HxH is a year old once it was March 3rd, 1999. What, you're telling by your math that HxH is considered a year old on the date of December 31st, 1998? 20th anniversary starts on March 3rd, 2018. Just add 20 years to HxH's publication date/year. Done.

To go back to your first post, I don't remember if they did anything for HxH's 10th anniversary. Other than just having HxH on the WSJ issue for that week. WSJ is fed up with Togashi as iirc the HxH chapters that came out in 2014 never ranked well. With that in mind, I don't think WSJ would have anything that huge planned for HxH. It's rumored that the next volume, will be released during the month of June.

I don't care for how WSJ handles it's volumes. When they skip a volume they call the previous one a double issue while rest of the world wonder if they are getting a double chapter as in Double Digests they get.

I simply meant that it started publishing in beginning of March in 98 and that makes it's 19 year old like a person born in march 1998 will have his 19th birthday in March 2016. I can't believe I have to explain this so many times. Whatever.
