Yes and no, you can make it larger, but it's limit is PS. After that only Susanoo users with Sage chakra and Sasuke's skill can pull a COAT feat by changing its shape and size to whatever they want.

I think the size of the PS also depends on the chakra user... And otherwise maybe they can change the size to some what, but probably not bigger than the PS, because they could use it as armor over Kurama and the shape of it had to change, and also the size, it wasn't PS on Kurama

Mei's acid jutsu was able to melt both Ms and edo madara's ribcage Susanoo, there is no discrimination in terms of durability here.

I think he's saying that someone's Ribcage Susano'o is just as durable as any other Ribcage Susano'o, someone's V1 Susano'o has the same durability as any other V1 Susano'o, and etcetra.
All Susano are different between user that's why they have distinct colors to show the difference not only does the chakra of the user represent the color of the Susano but it also impacts the power of the Susanoo...

Madara and Sasuke all have rikudou chakra, so rikudou chakra has nothing to do with Kakashi's perfect susanoo size and power. It's all the same damn thing.
So they can twist, and deform Susano'o to fit snug as a bug in a rug around a quadrupedal fox creature, but can't make it even an inch thicker or taller?
The point he's trying to get across is that if someone normally uses Perfect Susano'o, the result would end up like anyone else's. Through will I'm sure it theoretically wouldn't be hard to change size however (though what you're talking about is a different technique, Majestic Attire: Susano'o).

He isn't saying that all levels of Susanoo have the same durability. He's saying that every Susanoo user has the same durability in each form. Ex. Sasuke's lvl1 Susanoo= Itachi's lvl1 susanoo= Madara's lvl1 Susanoo. And so on so forth.

This. No two jutsus are the same. Sasuke's chakra was stronger than Itachi's which is why his fireball overpowered Itachi's.
The same logic applies to the size, shape, power, and durability of Susano'o as well.
That logic doesn't apply to Susanoo whatsoever.
Look at edo madara's defense against mei's acid and now look at Ms sasuke.
