How did Hagoromo become the Juubi's jinchuriki ?

Then how do explain kurama telling minato that hagoromo survived extracting the bijuu from his body because he had the gedo mazou just like obito???
It's better not to complicate it and create theories it's best just to follow the manga,everything relating to the sealing was consistent until kaguya fight when it was implied hago and hamura used rikudou chibaku tensei on kaguya. Which was obviously a mistake on kishi's part.

If Kurama actually did say that, then the only amendment needed to the explanation is that Hagoromo used his Rinnegan to summon the Demonic Statue from the moon in order to seal the entire thing quickly inside of him. This would mean he later near his death simply extracted the chakra and returned the husk.

He sealed the Chakra/Mind/Soul of the Juubi into Himself. Put the Corpus of the Juubi on the Moon for safe keeping.

Implications aside, it's only outright said that Hagoromo was the Jinchuuriki of the entire Juubi. Then spit it's Chakra into the Bijuu an Sealed the Mazo into the moon.

Rinnegan allows the summoning of the Mazo

Things in order:
1. Kaguya used Infinite Tsukuyomi on everyone to suck their chakra for the Shinju Fruit.
2. Kaguya eats the fruit to become stronger.
3. People begin to become Zetsu.
4. Hagoromo and Hamura are born.
5. Kaguya merges the Shinju to attack them. Hamura uses Byakugan and sees Kaguya inside.
6. They seal the Juubi into Hagoromo.
7. Hamura goes to protect the Otsutsuki Clan on the moon from Momoshiki.
8. Hagoromo mates and has Indra and Asura.

1. Kaguya eats fruit and suppresses human wars...becoming revered as a Goddess
2. Kaguya Births two sons who inherited her Chakra
3. People begin to fear Kaguya as a demon and she casts IT on humanity
4. Unknown to Hagoromo and Hamura, Kaguya fuses with the Shinjuu, resulting in the Juubi.
5. Thinking that the Juubi was simply an Incarnation of the God Tree trying to get it's Chakra back...Hagoromo and Hamura fought it sealing it into Hagoromo.

It's in a completely different dimension...this was before Sasuke became powerful enough to cross dimensions. Also the more powerful the summon...the more Chakra it takes to summon it.

I don't know what the politics behind it was about, but the staff as a whole should've just stuck with the story Black Zetsu told minus Kaguya somehow knowing about grandchildren she wasn't even around to see and the retcon about the Shinju.

Long story short in order:

1. Kaguya consumes fruit
2. Kaguya gives birth to Hagoromo and Hamura
3. Possible Hagoromo begin to teach people about ninshu using chakra or Kaguya just got chakra hungry
4. Kaguya cast IT on mankind and merges with God Tree to take form of Juubi
5. Hagoromo and Hamura fight Juubi and use Rikudou CT to create moon out of gedo mazou while chakra is sealed in Hagoromo( why ?, most likely he could better handle it or he has plans to share it with people using ninshu)
6. Hagoromo releases IT then reshape whole world(planet) with Nunoboko sword
7. Hamura departs to the moon while Hagoromo stays on the earth teaching ninshu and spreading chakra
8. Hagoromo fall in love with some pretty and pure-heart woman who gave birth to Ashura and Indra
9. Hagoromo gets old while his deciding Ashura's way of peace is correct
10. Hagoromo breaks seal of Gedo Mazou and summon it sealing in himself after contacting Hamura
11. Hagoromo splits remaning chakra of (Prime) Juubi creating tailed beasts by using COAT
12. Hagoromo explains everything to tailed beasts then extracts and summon back(or Hamura summon back) Mazou in the moon
13. Hagoromo chooses Ashura as successor and Indra got jelaous so they fight.

I guess, the missing part would be only Hagoromo needing to break seal as first rinnegan user and sealing gedo mazou in himself while extracting ten tails chakra to make tailed beasts and then summon husk of ten tails back to the moon or Hamura doing it as Hagoromo is dying.

Just forget about the theory that hago sealed the juubi chakra in him and the body on the moon,it's false,hago sealed the complete juubi in him and sealed the body with rikudou ct after spliting the chakra. The manga supports this until the chapter where it is implied that hago and hamura sealed kaguya together using the six paths seals,it's best to forget about this part,if hago only sealed the juubu chakra into his body and not the complete juubi,kaguya wouldn't have known indra and ashura.
