How did Hagoromo become the Juubi's jinchuriki ?

Didn't Hagoromo and his brother seal the Juubi inside the moon ? then how did he become the Juubi's jinchuriki ?

And how exactly did Madara summon the Gedo statue ? wasn't the statue inside the moon ? if not, then what did Hagoromo and his brother used the seal for ?

Manga flashback, databook, and I think The Last retconned Hagoromo ever having the Gedo Mazo inside him.

According to the databook Kaguya personally knew Indra. Despite Hagoromo being shown as elderly when he had kids.

I don't think I need to explain the nonsense regarding the origin of chakra.

Hamura took the remaining of the Otsutsuki Clan to guard the statue while Hagromo stayed on earth to spread ninshu. Madara would later unlock his rinnegan and break the seal summoning the gedo statue back down to earth.

Plothole/bad writing. It was first stated in the manga that the juubi was sealed into hagoromo then during the end it was implied that hagoromo and his brother used six paths chibaku tensei to seal the juubi choose the one you want to believe it's best to go with the former.

5) He kept her inside him till he was old (ewww), and then split the chakra up into nine Bijuu.
6) Approaching death, he (with/out Hamura) sealed the husk in the moon to which bro Hammy went to live on, leaving Haggers dying/dead.

The Juubi is Kaguya in her BM form, Hagoromo had the Yang affinity so took responsibility of sealing her within himself. Hamura had the ability to seal chakra, so most likely made the Yin and Yang seals which blocked her abilities and sealed away her dojutsu the same way Hyuga seal away their own.

The Gedo Mazo is Kaguya's leftover, it was sent to the moon after her power was divided into 9 bijuu so that nobody could resurrect her. The sealing of the Gedo happened long after Indra and Ashura were born.
