Ashura only got the title to lead the clan/ppl, nothin else. They both knew ninshuu not ninjutsu which is watered down. They're son's of Hogo so there power was different than any shinobi using ninjutsu.

The fact that Indra had a PS just with MS proves that their power was totally different from the incarnates, way closer to their grandma if they'd acted together with the knowledge of ninshuu. Hence Hogo/Hamura all over again in case she returned some how.

Ashura & Indra was equal at some point then the battle to the death happen.

Hamura had tsbbefore awakening tenseigan,kaguya also had tsb and databook iv makes it clear that only naruto,hagoromo,madara and obito had six paths senjutsu. Databook doesn't say that tsb is gotten from only six paths senjutsu,it says that six paths senjutsu grants tsb just like how tenseigan also grants tsb. So I don't know where you guys come up with the assumption that ashura had six paths senjutsu when it wasn't stated in anything naruto related.

I always thought he meant power as in a leadership position not actual power. Plus hog promo specifically said that he gained power on the same level as his brother. That was before he intrusted him with ninshuu legacy. So wouldn't that extra power put him way over the top? This their fight wouldn't have ended in a draw.

Viz has been known to occasionally drop the ball on its translations, and it seems like this is one of those times. The DB made something of a concerned effort to concretely state that no powerups were ever doled out between the 2 brothers.

We have numerous statements indicating that Ashura did receive power from Hagoromo and the fact that he possessed Rikudou Senjutsu which is a Six Paths Power which is something Indra's Chakra isn't capable of allows us to deduce that Hagoromo gave Ashura Six Paths Chakra directly.

Databook only makes a mention of Rikudou Senjutsu users having TSB. If that wasn't the case, then it would've been indicated and the manga clearly wouldn't have shown TSB being only exclusive to ones with Rikudou Senjutsu.
