Senjutsu from the cursed seal caused his Chidori to become black in the first instance and Hagoromo's Sage chakra form the Yin Seal caused Sasuke's Chidori to become black in the second.

The cursed seal only replaces the chakra that it feeds on with Orochimaru's Sage chakra. All of Sasuke's reserves aren't senjutsu in this form. He simply decided not to imbue his Chidori with Sage power in that instance, unlike during VOTE.

two problems with that:

1. since when did kid sasuke know anything about senjutsu chakra to draw upon?

2. the yin seal really didn't do anything except seal kaguya...I am pretty sure

I never understood why exactly why senjutsu turned chidori black. It's not like Jutsu colour changes is common when it comes to adding senjutsu to them.

He wouldn't need to know about Sage chakra. All he knew was that he was empowering his Chidori with the power of his cursed seal.

Not really sure why you believe that the seals can't do anything but use Six Paths CT. That's their main purpose, but it isn't the only thing that they can do.

He was already shown using the the Yin Seal for his Chidori. There isn't any room for debate here.

He can choosen when he wants to put senjustu in his chidori like Naruto can choose when he wants to put senjustu inside his rasengan.

Because he chose not to infuse CS/Rikudou power into those Chidoris. When Sasuke told Naruto to infuse his Rasengan with SP power, it was made clear that injecting those types of power was a conscious thing.

Sasuke using Chidori with his left hand doesn't mean that he is drawing on the Yin seal's chakra.

Everybody and their grandma knows it's the Senjutsu that changes the lightning's color.

Naruto's seal is already naturally white in the manga. The instance with Naruto's truthseekers is obviously an artistic error as well as completely unrelated to the point.
