i mean if you look back it states that if you put to much chakra in a clone you can die.. but how does so many people know it.. and nearly perfect it.. naruto i can understand. nine tails chakra plus he already had an enormous chakra himself, (holding back kuramas power he still had 200 times more chakra than kakashi) now.... any comments. or reasoning

The taxing part of shadow clones is maintaining them for a long period of time. Not the number you can make.

Tbh, the technique being a kinjutsu is just for plot reasons, splitting your Chakra in half might not be a wise choice during battle but it shouldn't have any lethal repercussions or any repercussions at all

Hang don't forget when Naruto was training for Rasenshuriken he made all of those shadow clones, and then like two seconds after releasing them he passed out. What was going on there

Yeah but keeping the clones active (not using any techniques with the clones) does not seem to sap any Chakra and it also seems dispelling the clone returns the Chakra to the original so it was just a plot device to make Naruto the only notable user in part 1.

Yeah it does. It was not only pointed out in p1 a couple of times and in p2 I remember Hachibi notes for Naruto not maintain Kyuubi clones too long or else Kurama will eat him.

Shadow clone wasn't forbidden Multiple Shadow Clone was forbidden. The kids had to use Kage Bushin to pass the exam iirc.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu isn't kinjutsu; Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu is, because the dangers of the main body's chakra hitting 0% increase with each additional clone.

After all, not all shinobi are direct descendants of OP aliens that live for centuries without ageing.

The scan you provided didn't prove your point but it's a possibility that keeping the clones constantly sap Chakra, but the Chakra will have to be miniscule, cos keeping a thousand clones would have been too tasking for even Naruto.
@bold that was because when Naruto was using Chakra in Kcm the Kyuubi had access to his own Chakra too and could choose to take it (something the Kyuubi stopped doing when Madara showed up)

Well it's unwise to argue against the Databook, but every shinobi runs that risk with all techniques, when your Chakra is low (or not enough for whatever reason) trying to use a technique will either cause death or the technique won't activate, I don't see why that made Kage bunshin (mass) a kinjutsu

Maintaining shadow clones take chakra bro. You can split your chakra into 1/1000 thousand with good CC that's not the issue. The problem is what you do after that.

Even if maintaining it takes Chakra (which is debatable), that still doesn't make it a kinjutsu, I still call plot

No, TAJUU Kage Bunshin is forbidden. Standard clones are not, for the reason that making more than say 4 or 5 immediately puts your life in danger, unless you have god tier chakra.

Theres also the scan of tired Kakashi making 20 kage bunshins and calling it a bluff later on because he was too tried from Zabuza fight....
It's because it's a risky tech that can kill you for those without high stamina or good judgement. Makes sense tbh.

Lol, if a tired Kakashi could make 20 。。。like you said (and I said in my first post) it's a matter of good judgement the fact that it's Chakra tasking shouldn't make it forbidden, since Chakra gets replenished with rest and there's the thing that pushing your Chakra capacity to the limit increases it but the data book already called it lethal so what can I say

Creating these clones will never kill you, because splitting your chakra in half can never make it reach 0.

The problem is, with 1/20th of your chakra left, you're going to die from being looked at the wrong way, and your clones are going to be literally useless, which is why it's forbidden, the same way Rasenshuriken was forbidden until Naruto learned how to throw it. For personal protection.
