Which is more necessary, health and education or ranking in military strength?

Btw our "military strenght" kicked Russia's ass in Winter War. We basically owned them although we had 1/3 of their manpower. And also our 30 tanks vs their 300 tanks.

Outcome: Finns: 70 000 casualties
Russians: 360 000 casualties.

Boom. You should learn something from that.
Don't bother with him. He's delusional.

He makes up facts as he sees fit.

lol That absolutely made no sense. First you tell me the minimum wage of the 1949, then give me the supposed rates of unemployment (which probably isn't accurate) and then string together that they coincide with racism, historical fact, and minimum wage hikes?

You are clearly dumbfounded by your own logic. This is why people like you should not be able to vote.
raises in minimum wage coincide with jump in black teenage unemployment(and to a lesser extent white unemployment)

you make yourself look ignorant by not checking the facts(empirical evidence) i've provided.

Disprove the information not the source, moron

minimum wage in 1949 is the equivalent of $4.04 in todays money. Black teenage unemployment- 9.2%, White teenage unemployment-10.4%. The last year that happened. I wonder what coincides with raises in black teenage unemployment(with white increases as well, but nowhere near as severe). Maybe it's hikes in minimum wage?

You support a raise in minimum wage? You're a racist

A minimum wage not only discriminates against low-skilled workers but also is one of the most effective tools in the arsenal of racists. Our nation's first minimum wage came in the form of the Davis-Bacon Act of 1931, which sets minimum wages on federally financed or assisted construction projects. During the legislative debates, racist intents were obvious. Rep. John Cochran, D-Mo., said he had "received numerous complaints in recent months about Southern contractors employing low-paid colored mechanics getting work and bringing the employees from the South." Rep. Miles Allgood, D-Ala., complained: "That contractor has cheap colored labor that he transports, and he puts them in cabins, and it is labor of that sort that is in competition with white labor throughout the country." Rep. William Upshaw, D-Ga., complained of the "superabundance or large aggregation of Negro labor."

Basically the nations first minimum wage law was to stop southern black workers from coming to the north and under cutting the prevailing white union pay(which they weren't allowed in)

A minimum-wage is not, I agree, necessarily good... if that's the only legislation you pass. An increased minimum wage should be followed by investments in social security and unemployment benefits. The whole idea is to increase the standards of living and the working conditions for unskilled and low-skilled laborers, but if you're just removing bad jobs with bad pay and not replacing them with better jobs then I don't think progress has been made.
Sure, the restaurant industry and the like would not keel over from just paying their servers a bit more - and not doing the whole 'tips = wages' thing - but overall I think more reforms are necessary.
Like you said; with just wage hikes you may end up simply losing jobs... even if those jobs are terrible and mainly unskilled/low-skilled jobs. Outsourcing can be a harsh mistress, but if you use the opportunity to make higher education and retraining more affordable and available I think you will end up with a better labor force overall, and happier and more wealthy citizens to boot.
