Lightning is indifferent against water, It can either make water more powerful or if the opponent is standing on a water source or has turned themselves into water prove very fatal.
Wind defeats lightning because the air pressure disappates the energy used to create the lightning.
So then another try. What is lightning strong against, and what else do you know about lightning..?

that is also partially correct. Lightning works well at all ranges, as its considerably fast and most of its techniques happen rather quickly using either no handseals or very few. it's perfect for defense against fast and agile attackers that get a little too close for comfort. Lightning also has a very good way of subduing an opponent. Advanced users can cause shocks so great a technique that does nothing more then send a shock through the oponent can cause that technique to cause death upon contact. Some other user like myself use Raiton as a means of becoming faster, stronger, and etc. in a more natural way of speeding of the nerual synapses which basically are the electrical currents your brain sends to move your arm and such.
