Reasons why Konan dont diserve to be an akatsuki member :

1-she was too nice to be part of an evil organization "akatsuki" led by Tobidara :


2-The fodderest Akatsuki member in my Opinion was Konan becuz :

A)-she failed to accomplish her missions : for exemple she failed to stop Jiraiya from infiltrating the rain village..

B)-she never did something important for akatsuki like capturing a tailed beast..

C)-she isn't strong + she never won a fight against strong adversaries : Jiraiya, Tobidara..

D)-she was just a burden for Nagato : for exemple she got captured by hanzo and somhow was responsible for yahiko's death..

E)- Konan could never make Decisions by herself...her philosophie was just copy-past of nagato's : for exemple if nagato says Naruto is evil then he is evil, but if he says naruto is good then naruto is good

1-Most of the akatsuki weren't villainous(in terms of their action, most of them weren;t motivated out pure evilness),Being evil was never a requirement nor a quality for being a member. Plus if you're making this point, then you might as well apply it to itachi and nagato.

3-What did zetsu or hidan and kakazu do? what about sasori?

4-she actually is in contrast to other ninja. Plus in angle mode she is untouchable by most people , that's hax with enough chakra.

5-Yahiko killed his own damn self, and again, all of the akatsuki failed at some of their missions.

6-Her motivates or dreams were never mentioned or hinted in the manga and that was due to bad writing. But her doing what nagato wanted is merely nothing but the mix of respect to yahiko's legacy+being part of the akatsuki+supporting a friend.

OT: White Zetsu was the fodder in the Akatsuki, followed by Hidan and then Kakuzu, etc.. Konan was never a burden to anyone or at least Nagato or Yahiko never thought about her this way. She was an independent woman who kept her emotions in check.

Akatsuki was never evil, just muisguided as most of them were including the leaders Nagato and Obito. Konan's task was never to capture a tailed beast and bring it back alive. Her job was to support the organization.

I think konan is sure strong but she can't defeat jiraiya. Jiraiya is 100 of years above her. She can easily solo a village too.
