Did you not read your own link, there is no official accepted list of all sports and "The inclusion of mind sports within sport definitions has not been universally accepted, leading to legal challenges from governing bodies in regards to being denied funding available to sports" Or how about how The International Olympic Committee recognizes some board games as sports including Chess, yet Chess not being included in The Olympic Games? Just because the meaning has been altered to kowtow to people whose feelings got hurt they weren't being called athletes too doesn't mean it needs to be accepted.

You're trying to make the exception be the rule just because chess being a sport doesn't fit your closet mindset.
