Joki Boy molests him. He has no way to put it down besides taking Gengetsu out, and he wont get to Gengetsu without going through Joki. A few explosions should be enough to mortally wound him.
What happens if Joki Boi gets bisected? I don't know much about him so I'm unsure, but depending on how weak Gengtsu becomes from using Joki Boi, flight followed by Katon Dragons could do the trick.
It'd reform. That's why they had to try and bind it. If he got close enough to bisect it it'd probably just blow up in his face anyway. When Gengetsu uses Joki Boy he's practically a sitting duck, but Joki Boi would either take the Katon, explode, and then reform or it'd grab Gengetsu and dodge.
Fair enough. But this jutsu has a weakness to Katon, doesn't it? Sure, Katon can help it grow because it would heat it up. But post-explosion, the only way Joki Boi shrinks again in order to explode another tme is via the hail cooling him down. Sasuke will obviously notice this (he can survive explosions by flying or sacrificing snakes to take the explosions, CM2 wings can even protect him from one most likely), so using a Katon to evaporate the hail and heat up Joki Boi further means he'll I explode again. This would pretty much be over for Gengetsu at this point because Joki Boi cannot save Gengetsu from a Shunshin blitz while in his giant state.
I remembered Draegod proving that even if Gengetsu is vulnerable in his stated, after Joki usage, it doesn't change the fact it can still use oil/water hydricfication[You must be registered for see links]. So how does blitzing defeat Gengetsu exactly? Maybe preparing a couple of Kunai explosive tags? Cause thats the only thing I see taking him out. Because physical damage is nullified and Mizukage's body conductive oil will reduce the damage output Sasuke element ninjutsu would do for a kill.
Joki Boi was praised for its speed (out speeding Gaara's sand control and "auto protect" sand by a slight sec) I fail to see how Katon is a problem of maneuvering anyway. The strategy can only work based on Gengetsu's arrogance
Chidori? Followed by Genjutsu while he's totally vulnerable if he chooses to? And Katon is evaporating the hail when he's in giant form, it's not intended to hit him when he's small.

Genjutsu is possible, to make sure hydrification is turned off.
His not in giant form when hail is in process. Hail is processed after it explodes. Chapter 557 clearly shows it raining hail, in a massive area. There's no way Sasuke's Katon counters/covers "rain" area effect.
Please read what Gengetsu saidYou must be registered for see links. "The hail cools it down and it shrinks again". So if Sasuke prevents it from cooling down via Katon by either heating the main body or the hail, it won't shrink again.

Your repeating yourself and not getting my point.
1. I already addressed Joki's reaction/speed feats to suggest it easily dodges Katon.
2. Your clearly underestimating the reform time it takes to shrink back, base on panels.
3. My above post shows it "raining" hail so its not one short area with cool down hail. So again, how does Sasuke clear out RAIN with Katon?
Hebi Sasuke is one of the most underrated versions of Sasuke on the Base. Are we seriously forgetting he has orochimaru's arsenal which severely gives him the advantage in this fight. We're talking 3-4 snakes the size of gamabunta, and im not even going to get into what snakes are capable of sensory wise. Gengetsu is out of his league against Hebi Sasuke.
1. Joki Boi's speed feats are limited to his shrunken form. As I already showed you with the quote, he's not in his mini-form post-explosion and thus is not dodging any Katon seeing how massive of a target he is. "The hail cools it down and it shrinks again" meaning he's in his giant form and gets countered by the Katon.
2. It's several seconds, panel time doesn't mean anything as you cannot gauge the time between two panels. It's a fact that it does take time to cool down, it's not instant, and thus Sasuke heats it up after analysing its mechanics. This is after seeing it once or twice and having survived via flight and/or snake summon/his CM2 wings.
3. If he heats up the area then Joki Boi is not cooling down. The hail not close to Joki Boi's body is irrelevant because it has no effect on him. Is it really that hard to understand dude?
