The jutsu was very common throughout the war arc in Naruto. We saw the cloth users predominantly using it. But Gaara was also able to hide the seals in his sand and when capturing people it would activate. It's a sealing jutsu, and as we just discussed the formula allows the object to be sealed without an exact reasoning as to why it seals them. Though i'd assume it seals their chakra while they're in it - or possibly it seals their physical being so that no movement or jutsu can be used. I really like how it can be used with all elements or different styles (if applied correctly) and there's multiple methods of applying it. Though it has a pretty big weakness in the fact that it takes some time to fully form. However if it's used with a jutsu and they don't counter properly, even if it wouldn't kill them or completely stop them, it would be like insurance and fully seal them.Well good. Next..
( Fūin Fuda ) – Sealing Tag
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: A basic sealing technique where the user places one or more tags either directly on a target or on a technique which is restraining it. As its placed, a sealing formula spreads around the technique or the target, sealing it. This technique has been seen used with Sand ninjutsu, Earth, Water, Wood, Cloth Ninjutsu, etc but basically any technique in which you can apply the tags can be used. In the case of expert ninjas, the tags might even be incorporated into the restraining technique, with no need to actually manually place the tag or tags. Additionally, less experienced ninjas can find that throwing one or more kunais with the sealing tags attached at the technique which will trigger the same effect when the kunais stick on the technique. This prevents the target from moving, molding chakra or even being summoned.
Note: The seal takes a while to form, so most opponents can either counter the restraining technique (thus preventing the sealing formula of taking effect) or rip off the tags from themselves negating its effects entirely. If the target, however, fails to counter the restraining technique or is counter to it fails or if he doesn't remove the tags in his next move, then the seal will fully be placed and the target unable to release himself.
Note: This technique is specially designed to be used on summons and Edo Tensei Summons but will work on any opponent except Jinchurikiis.
Ask your questions.. and go! This is rather complex so instead of giving you a massive block of information, analyze and form up questions.

No questions, I believe I understand the jutsu fully.
Is it considered to be used in the same timeframe as the jutsu the tag is used with?Make some questions![]()
1. This technique counts as a move. It cannot be done simultaneously unless paired with tai or free-form.Is it considered to be used in the same timeframe as the jutsu the tag is used with?
Can it logically be used with energy based jutsu? Or would the tag be destroyed by them because theres no physical surface?
If I place multiple tags on someone does it speed up the sealing process?
How are those? .-.
Well I figured as much. So that all the questions you need?1. This technique counts as a move. It cannot be done simultaneously unless paired with tai or free-form.
2. No.
3. No. The time would simply be staggered between each seal.
No. :|Well I figured as much. So that all the questions you need?
For some reason Naruto appears and is in his primitive incomplete tailed beast form. I take the tag and upon getting close enough, I place the tag on his head to suppress the chakra.No. :|

( Chakra Haisui Fūin no Jutsu ) – Chakra Suppression Seal Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user places this seal on the forehead of a Jinchuuriki influenced by the powers of a Bijuu, to forcibly cause the Bijuu's powers to recede. The Jinchuuriki becomes exhausted after this happens.
Note: This can only restrict Jinchuuriki in their Incomplete form, not when they completely transform into the Bijuu.
You'll never ever ever ever actually get this technique to work unless your opponent screws up horribly. This technique only exists because of plot-no-jutsu, but go ahead and do the usual thing.
Exhausted as in tired, but then again we are somewhat invincible in the RP so not much. The bearing of this in a fight is completely contextual. Considering there is no usage limit on initial transformations, in theory the jin could simply re-enter the mode right after. For some reason Naruto appears and is in his primitive incomplete tailed beast form. Like you said, will rarely be used. PLus getting in close to a Jinchu is pretty stupid honestly. So you'd probably want a clone to be the one to try.
When it says the Jinchu will be exhausted, what can that be translated to in terms of RP?
Also if you use this, does it completely suppress the Jinchu chakra for the rest of the match, or can they re-enter it?
Thanks for clearing that up. No more questions.Exhausted as in tired, but then again we are somewhat invincible in the RP so not much. The bearing of this in a fight is completely contextual. I'm actually a pretty big fan of this jutsu. Aside from the generic ability to seal mostly anything, it was what Sasuke used to summon ninja tools I believe. That aspect alone it why I like it, seeing how fast they can be summoned and utilised makes it much more versatile than first appearance. Think i'm just throwing a punch? All of a sudden i'm holding a sword that extends my reach exponentially and catches the opponent off guard. Not to mention it's basically a limitless amount that can be sealed, so theres not much of an argument that can be made about how much ninja tools any one person would carry on them, if you use a lot of them.So i'll be taking over as Selendrile is MIA, hope he's doing well though.
So the next sealing jutsu is:
( Han'you Fūin ) - Generic Sealing Technique
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary , Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: This technique is a standard ninja skill which allows a ninja to summon an assortment of items or weapons that have been stored using Fūinjutsu, typically they are stored within scrolls. When needed, the owner will activate the seals releasing their item or weapon of choice. Scrolls can also be used as ammunition for other weapons. The items themselves are unaffected by time. This Technique allows the user to seal any weapons they wish being their own or opponents.
Note: Cannot seal opponent's custom weapons, or the special weapons of a particular character ( example: Samehada or Kubikiribocho ).
Note: Can only seal corpses, and not injured people regardless of the extent of their injury.
Pretty generic, seal a weapon and such, any questions? It's litterally the most basic of seals when it comes to it, using a scroll to seal an item which you would have mastered a variation of this in your basic nin training
Correct, this would only be for weapons and such, for jutsu there is the 5 elements seal which Jiraiya uses to seal amaterasu.I'm actually a pretty big fan of this jutsu. I guess i'm right in assuming that this wouldn't seal jutsu?
( Fūin Wana Bakuhatsu ) – Sealing Trap ExplosionCorrect, this would only be for weapons and such, for jutsu there is the 5 elements seal which Jiraiya uses to seal amaterasu.
To be fair it's useful in the right hands, to think tenten used this to create her own fighting style of barrage of weapons and shit, and lets not forget Sasuke and Itachi's show down on shuriken barrage?
( Fūin Wana Bakuhatsu ) – Sealing Trap Explosion
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Offensive, Defensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user places a seal on a chosen location which when an enemy target draws closer to the seal it will release itself in activation to the enemy’s chakra and cause an explosion.
( Shikoku Mujin ) - Four Black Fog Battle Formation
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Close
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: When the opponent is trapped inside a container of some sort, the user places five sealing tags, on each side of the container forming a rough pentagon shape. The opponent is then locked in suspended animation for one turn.
Note: If the opponent escapes the container or shatters it before all the tags are placed, he avoids the technique fully.
Two this time xd
( Fūin Wana Bakuhatsu ) – Sealing Trap Explosion - you're wrong on this one. It's great against speed uses. Lay it down on the ground and jump back, if they come head on it explodes on them, if not, use basic earth jutsu to push the seal into them. I've used this as a precaution when i need to summon ma and pa, no handseals, need a little trap to keep them back. You could even go all close combat ont hem, jump back placing the seal as you go and its a B rank blast. Place it on the earth, use stone dragon to push the seal at them?( Fūin Wana Bakuhatsu ) – Sealing Trap Explosion
This one would be pretty difficult to use in battle just because there's no real way to know when an opponent has or hasn't come close to it. Though with the new NW set up, placing the tag on a certain land mark would be a good way to catch an enemy off guard. I believe there is a larger version that has been used to cover almost entire landmarks. Though it was brought up that the jutsu cannot differentiate between enemy and ally chakra, so any foreign chakra is considered an enemy causing it to detonate.
No questions.
( Shikoku Mujin ) - Four Black Fog Battle Formation
So basically what happened to Sasuke to get his CM. Pretty cool, but I don't know what person would let you shove them in a container and do this to them. No real use unless you're trying to preserve a body and carry it around, though the 1 turn limit thing kind of makes even doing that difficult.
Does this realistically have any purpose or use in the RP?
I didn't consider using that first seal in combination with earth jutsu. Awesome way to add pressure without them even realising it.( Fūin Wana Bakuhatsu ) – Sealing Trap Explosion - you're wrong on this one. It's great against speed uses. ( Shikoku Mujin ) - Four Black Fog Battle Formation - depends if you have a jutsu where you can put them in a container xd Make a custom that is an earth container then you're free to use this to bind them for a turn xd But to be honest not so much, i'm making the toad gourd a cannon jutsu at the moment, the one that a path of pein was pulled into, so this could be used with that to stop them getting out too.
This is the one you will want the most:
( Ho/Mizu/Kaze/Tsuchi/Rai Houin ) - Fire/Water/Wind/Earth/Lightning Sealing Method
Rank: B-Rank
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user takes out a scroll, and writes the name of the element they wish to seal in it. They then make four handseals, and a vapour comes out of the scroll, envelops the technique they wish to seal and seals it back into the scroll.
Note: This technique can only seal one technique up to S-rank per usage
Note: This technique may be used only thrice.
If a jutsu is boosted it has more power than the seal was intended for, so say Amaterasu, you use this to seal it, but for some reason it has +10, you wouldn't be able to absorb that extra damage, and would be left with the power of the rank equivalant.I didn't consider using that first seal in combination with earth jutsu. Awesome way to add pressure without them even realising it.
The new technique is awesome, you're right about that. It's simple to understand, so I just have a few questions.
If an S rank jutsu was used and boosted by +10 for example, could it still be sealed? It's still an S rank jutsu, but would the extra damage have any impact.
Does it have to be the basic 5 elements? If I was fighting a Gaara bio could I write sand down and seal his sand? Same for lava, wood etc.
Understood, thanks for clearing that up.If a jutsu is boosted it has more power than the seal was intended for, so say Amaterasu, you use this to seal it, but for some reason it has +10, you wouldn't be able to absorb that extra damage, and would be left with the power of the rank equivalant.
No, only basic 5, not elemental combinations or variants.
