With your rank I can only teach you up to B-rank. So, go ahead and explain lightning, its description, the relationship with other elements, and anything else you can think of.
Lightning Release is the outcome of chakra manipulation, we generate chakra and alter it's properties into an element, in this case Lightning. In which we increase the vibrations frequency of our chakra and fasten it's movements, thus creating Lightning techniques. Lightning is a fast moving and cutting edge element, addtionally from having shocking properties, it has burning ones as well due to it's high temperature. It is strong against the Earth element, shredding it on contact, but weak to Lightning which can simply dissipate Lightning bodies.
Notorious Lightning users would be Kakashi with his Raikiri, Sasuke with Kirin and the Raikage's Lightning Armor.

Lightning works well with Water to create elemental combinations, having the lightning mix into the water for shocking waves. Similiar to how Darui used Water/Lightning vs Sasuke in the Kage Summit. I don't know about Fire but I think they don't get along together, fire is not tangible and Lightning isn't a lot tangible either, idk about this one.

Lightning and fire, while usually not reacting with one another, prove a powerful combination when mixed together in an attack. This is because lightning's weakness is wind, but mix a blast of fireball with the lightning and it helps overcome the wind.
Defending, you usually do not want to defend fire with lightning/lightning with fire unless the fire technique has some solid aspect to it (which is most often mentioned in the specific technique). Being somewhat solid, lightning can blast it away like a physical object while normally fire and lightning just pass through each other because they are energy based. Questions?

Simple and easy. Basic lightning bolts to attack/defend.

Description: The user will concentrate their chakra and slam their hand on the ground to release a surge of lightning across the ground to the opponents feet to shock them.
Charge your hand with lightning and place it on the ground. Release the chakra and send it towards your target.
First technique is simple as you've said sensei, it's easy to perform and also easy for the opponent to observe and counter it. It however has numerous uses, either to shock an opponent, create a distraction or even use it with Taijutsu by creating bolts around the fists for Lightning punches and kicks, nice technique.
2nd technique: Channeling Lightning chakra into my hand, I use it by placing that same hand on the ground, this then allows me to use the ground as a medium and release the Lightning into the earth. The lightning surge races through the ground and attempts to then strike my opponent, shocking them in hit by it.
