If Tobirama can use Gojo without edo tensei, this match ends quickly as I don't see how itachi is going to tag someone who's reflexively on par with EMS Sasuke and can move instantly. I also don't see how itachi can keep him from getting close to his susanoo at whatever level.

Gojo causes continuous mountain-sized explosions, no susanoo bar the bijuu/PS ones have been given the feats or implications that it can withstand that attack.

Looking anywhere on Itachi's body would result in Genjutsu. Crow can cast Genjutsu on Tobirama. Without the intel on these there's no reason to believe Tobirama will expect Genjutsu from any source barring Itachi's eyes. So Itachi catches him off guard and Tobirama ends up dying.

Gojo is a jutsu he created to use along edo tensei. So he probably uses it to blow up edo fodders

It's a Sharingan Genjutsu dude, so it definitely effects him. He's not overpowering shit, Ay's chakra levels are probably beyond Tobirama's and he can probably pump out way more chakra than Tobirama based on his v2 state yet he was nothing to Madara's Genjutsu. You're just giving me baseless speculation here, not 'simple logic', he isn't immune to Sharingan Genjutsu at all when even the Kyuubi falls prey to it.

The only visual genjutsu Itachi can put up without direct eye contact is the crow genjutsu. Which doesn't have feats to say he catches Tobirama with it.

And bijuus are fodder against Sharingan

Itachi wins, any attack from Tobirama can break Susanoo, Only chance has Tobirama is keep the long distance in order to outlast him without falling in a genjutsu, but he should still survive to Yasaka no Magatama. Tobirama also has to fight wit closed eyes. But no one escaped from a genjutsu made by Itachi if he didn't want so. It actually left harmless people like Orochimaru and Kakashi (not exactly the first ones who walk in the street) as well as Sasuke, Naruto and Kurenai.
