The only visual genjutsu Itachi can put up without direct eye contact is the crow genjutsu. Which doesn't have feats to say he catches Tobirama with it.

And bijuus are fodder against Sharingan

. It's a Sharingan Genjutsu like any other. You only find out when you see the 3T eye, at which point it's too late.

Bijuu's are fodder in the same way everyone without a Sharingan or a collaborating Bijuu is fodder to 3T Genjutsu. Crow Genjutsu gets him>Shunshin>kunai slits his throat gg. That's all there is to it.
