Could Minto have stopped the Uchiha clan massacre?

The recent fillers had me thinking, could Minato even had stopped the Massacre? The only information Minato could give is that a masked man with the sharingan is the one who attacked the village. If anything that would confirm Danzos suspicions that an uchiha was behind it instead of being a guess. Minato had no proof that the man was Madara and the uchiha were absent that night putting into question if an uchiha really had been behind it.

In the end it may have escalated it, it would be confirmed that an Uchiha was behind the ninetails attack and they would be treated even more unfairly. Unless Minato could Catch Obito before then, but even using the FTG to find him (and let's assume he atleast needs knowledge of the tags location before moving to it) Obito could just continue to run away or remove the tag by cutting it off his body after the first encounter.

What do you guys think?

Danzo was manipulating the whole situation it so it would depend on who is involved. Danzo might use his MS on Minato and have him to stay oblivious to this whole incident. If that doesn't happen then yeah Minato would have prevented ITachi and OBito from killing off the UChihas because they needed each other.

It took Obito and Itachi to be able to kill them all in the middle of the night. So it really depends on how highly you value Minato but I have to say, he won't be able to take them by surprise like they did, because throwing kunais through windows would create a lot of noise.

Minato seemed more of a hands on type of Hokage and not as passive as Hiruzen. Plus I don't think he really would have allowed Danzo and Orochimaru to get away with as much as they did since he doesn't share the same sentimental connection to them as Hiruzen did. He probably would have approached Sasuke's dad in person and hashed it out diplomatically. But who knows.
