Jiraiya fist thought it was Nagato then Naruto the only thing they had in Common was their DNA,the DNA of the Uzumaki Clan. Fact the Manga states that only a Uzumaki can have the Fox seal in them any other Uchiha,Senju and so on dies. That is why Mito Uzumaki ask for a Uzumaki replacement Kushina Uzumaki and that is why Minato used His own son instead of Sasuke Uchiha or Sakura Haruno.

Obito/Madara didn't need senju dna to become the juubi's jinchuuriki. Obito was given senju dna to control the gedo statue better, and nagato being an uzamaki wasn't able to control the statue well enough or become its juubi jinchuuriki.
Naruto walked in as rsm because of him being an Ashura incarnate, that's it. Uzamaki isn't closer to Hagormoo and you have no manga page that can prove that.

I have another explanation. There are various Mangekyou and Rinnegan techniques shown to be unique to individuals. Going with this, I think it would be possible for a living Nagato to learn the Rinnegan techniques that Obito, Madara, and Sasuke had. However, as the other 3 had power boosts (like Obito having Zetsu/Hashi cells in him) that I say factored in them learning said techniques, I think it would take Nagato longer to learn the non-Nagato Rinnegan techniques.

Fact Obito and Madara needed the Body of the Juubi that what the statue is to control the power. But Naruto took like Hagoromo did the power of the Juubi without its body. Fact all the Tailed Beast use Naruto as their zip code, their home address. The Uzumaki body is their home.
