How is Gerard winning this? I could understand if Lille or Pernida was doing it, but Gerard's power is just being Big. The Captains should be able to easily counter fighting someone like that. I don't remember Yammy being a huge threat.

He has'nt really been showing that though. He's only gotten bigger the once, nothing else has scratched him.
If my theory about his power is correct (that it's symbolic of a heartbeat), then there has to be a limit to how large he can get, so he won't just constantly get bigger.
