Kishimoto proved that he can't write a good story even if it slapped him in the face, multiple times.

I'm telling you if Neji was alive he would be babysitting Burrito and Himawari with Hinata, while the entire fan base called him a shitty father compared to Neji. The whole Hyuuga Clan is left in a blur, and that wouldn't change with Neji being alive because they were irrelevant long before the War Arc started.

At least Neji died for something, as petty as it was. We still don't even know who the Clan leader is, and at this point even if it is Hanabi, she would get low diffed by Hinata who actually has feats.
