Why isn't her potential future in the series a hot topic of conversation?
She's the daughter of two very capable shinobi. The granddaughter of the Third Hokage. The cousin of a likely future Hokage (Konohamaru). Play-sister of Shikamaru Nara.
Would love to feature her in my final FF.

Mirai definitely seems more prodigious than Konohamaru, being selected to accompany Kakashi the Sixth Hokage and all. Not that Konohamaru's early mastery of Rasengan wasn't impressive.
And I also agree that she seems like a great female character. I like how much attire she wears. Everything's covered up. Not sexualized at all, like Rey of Star Wars. Hope it'd stay that way even if we see her as an adult.

Yeah. But for me, Kishi would have to be the author and illustrator. I could care less about what any other person would do with her.

Possibly. Time wasn't on Kishi's side. He had to abandon some ideas unfortunately.
But having all those relations to characters we know so well makes her too relevant to forget imo

lol it's safe to say she's nowhere close to being fodder. Mirai would likely fodderize all other new gen characters besides Sarada and Mitsuki (yeah, even Boruto because he hasn't proven to be all that formidable yet). Mainly because she's older than them though

No room for her, I suppose. And she's not in the same generation as Boruto. I think she's however much older than Boruto as Iruka is of Naruto.
So that could explain her absence

Her character looks very unique and I think she might have that "Prime" surname because of her potential as a Sarutobi. I think if she is ever used she will be a Senpai to Boruto's team like Yamato was t. Kakashi's team.

I'd like to see that! Mirai seems to be very mature and experienced. Konohamaru could invite her to teach his team some valuable lessons sometimes.

Yeah, hopefully not. But as I said to another member, anything not done by Kishi himself isn't considered canon in my book. So any other person could do whatever they want with her, good or bad, and I would disregard it

Oh yeah. Good point. I just think Mirai's too close in age to be their sensei. Maybe she'll be the sensei of the next batch of Ino-Shika-Cho lol

I believe Mirai was just on elite bodyguard duty that day for ceremonial purposes. Genma and the other jonin who made up Minato's personal bodyguard detail comes to mind.

I was implying that Mirai wouldn't beat Sarada and Mitsuki AS EASILY/neg/fodderize as she would the other kids in that generation.
Sarada and Mitsuki are similar to Kakashi/Itachi/Minato/Sasuke/Neji when they were that young. Very prodigious and cunning beyond their age.
I would talk highly of Shikadai, as well, but like his father, he lacks physical/athletic prowess, which is a huge disadvantage.
