There's Devil's Advocacy, and then there's stupid scenarios. Why would Fujitora and Sengoku take turns? Why would they sit down and just watch Jack fight the other and then go "Okay, my turn," especially when we saw that Garp and Sengoku chose to double-team Shiki.
That wasn't a war. In a war, there are too many people to send your best fighters towards one area. As Akainu himself said, "What would happen to this scaffolding if we all left?" In this case, they could afford for both Admirals to attack at once.

Yes they both fought him at once. It makes no sense for them to take turns when fighting him when Jack is sinking marine ships. I don't know how you people think it would make sense from them to fight him one at a time.

Too many reasons to list for starter, one has to protect doffy from the rest while the other fights jack
I pray to god that you aren't implying that in sengoku's eyes jack-boy is as much of a threat as shiki...that analogy wouldn't really work when we have no knowing of how strong jack was, plus he failed.

Jack might not be enough for both of them to fight together, considering the dukes were fighting him evenly until he used the gas. I think you are thinking highly of jack, kaido himself would have trouble with fujitoura/tsuru and sengoku there...

No reason to assume he isn't, not to mention that the situation with Jack was more dire since they were in open waters with their top fighters all being DF users, Jack was sinking ships, and they had less footing and territorial advantage than at Marineford. So yeah, fighting Jack at the same time would be more even more needed than it was at MF.

It has nothing to do with Jack's power, it has to do with how dire the situation is, as explained above.

Your points applies here too, why would they leave her alone to protect doffy from the entire crew when they can send one to help here?see still won't work my man.
Jack himself is zoan, it would be stupid to sink a ship and die as well, doffy would too, and so they wouldn't have to be scared. Stopping the strongest man in MF was worth it, sengoku was also there just to be protect ace from getting freed and yet he failed, that shows that protection should be extreme.

Which is why one distracting him as the other attacked his ship to sink would be a pretty good strategy to end the conflict as quickly as possible.
