Stop trying to nitpick shit, I said "probably" meaning there is a high likelihood that the number is close to 50% give or take. According to wikipedia 8 out of 136 reported rapes are false but we only know how many are proven false. The number of false rape victims who never get proven innocent is probably alot higher.

I like what you say and of course it's also bad for the victim's psyche but I don't agree with the fact the victim shouldn't be blamed. I would rather say it should be done with discretion after an over view of the situation. If you read my first post I used the term " Outside the court". It should be made known to her that going to the apartment was a wrong call.
Well, there is actually a possibility that they guy says the truth and it was the girl who wanted to go up to his flat, and she wanted to have *** too.
As I see no conclusive proof from the girl's / the prosecution's part that the girl's story is true and the man lied...I have my reasonable doubts and so I see why he was acquitted. His story doesn't even matter much, he could have come up with anything, we'd still have nothing more than two narratives explaining how the semen got there. But the girl provided no evidence (witnesses or sign of violence) that substantiate her version.
That ''innocent'' man wasn't put behind bars though so apparently they did their job right..right?

He may be lying but I'm very suspicious the girl is lying aswell. If we're not smashing, what the hell are you doing in my house and sleeping on my couch? Especially when I'm screwing your friend in the same place, that little hoe is after his money. She tried setting him up imo. It's not like putting innocent victims behind bars makes up for their failure to catch the true rapists.
If she was lying why did he use such ridiculous statements (obvious lies and a mockery to victimized women) in his defence. He would have a better argument if he was innocent.
And if the jurisdicial system was honest and for the people, many government officials would be exposed and punished.

Literally 60% of this thread feels like people just projected their personal problems onto this situation and characters involved, but OT the millionair could've at least given a better excuse then 'I fell" which makes me wonder that he might be a complete rapist but in this case was it 100% deliberate? We don't know any details but from above it does look like he did it on purpose or 'made the accident on purpose' and his money made up for the remaining part to get out free, I'd say the dude was most likely guilty, in my barely informed opinion.

Whether the girl was lying or not is not being considered that much because she stuck to her story while the guy kept changing and readjusting his story as new facts came up and the excuse he came up with for the dna found inside the girl was most bizarre. She was wearing shorts(she mentioned and he didn't deny that) and I am assuming more clothes because neither of them mentioned a need for her to dress herself up before she left. How could he penetrate her accidentally with his penis that was sticking out when he fell over? And at the same time he claims the semen came from his hand from an hour earlier got in and wasn't already wiped at half a dozen places he had already been...Did he fall twice?

The fact that Jury decided within 30 minutes, on the other hand, implies that they didn't worry over contradiction in his statements but probably were more concerned with the girl indulging in a risk taking behaviour and thus making it about her. ( the same way as you and that's the problematic part here- blaming the victim to be available to be robbed) If there is more to story or not and whether it comes out or not, remains to be seen.
Oh we all get him. We still think jury was either bribed or was blaming the victim. Asking for proof for internet reactions to a funny 'excuse' is something people don't care about.
