You want to combo the chidori senbon and the water? If so, you'd have to use the water jutsu first then the chidori senbon since the senbon are considerably faster. The water would gain an electrical property, but also be pierced by your own senbon, since the senbon is a focused raiton, not an unfocused. The water would then fall without any shape manipulation, effectively doing nothing but lowering the rank of your raiton technique. ^^




After a sum of hand seals, you create a ball of water in your hand that is about the size of the rasengan. You extend it outwards towards the opponent and it forms a wall of water that gets sent at them. Nothing terribly fancy, takes a little time, just a meh attack in general. I hate attacks that are so simple, but if connected, would cause amazing damage.

One of the best, if not the best attacks in the suiton ninjutsu list when and if you became a suiton ninjutsu specialist. After forming forty four hand seals, you send your chakra into a water source and form a b-ranked Suiryūdan. You can control the dragon to do a plethora of things really, but I will leave that up to you to do. When your secondary specialty is water, it becomes a-rank. When your primary specialty is water, you form one hand seal and it can become S-rank in power.

Another amazingly versatile technique. Form a hand seal to form an orb of water literally anywhere on the field. The orb then spews out any number of whips you wish it to, that can literally do pretty much anything you ask of them. It is one of my favorite suiton ninjutsu on this list, so use it well. ^^

OOC: You've already gone over the basics of water in our private lesson back in Kirigakure so I won't go over that again. Instead, I will jump right into the techniques and see how it goes from there.

My name is Mangetsu Hozuki and I will be taking over your water training. From what I could gather from your previous teacher, you're well past the basics of water manipulation so we will continue to dig away at the techniques themselves. After gesturing three hand seals, which will be "Boar, Dog & Ram" I want you to extend one of your palms outwards, more preferably your dominant one. You will then focus in the moisture in the air around your palm, materializing a small source of water that is shape manipulated to rotate fearlessly like a mini vortex. You will then either mentally manipulate it or thrust your palm forward, releasing the vortex of water that will immediately expand outwards. As it expands, naturally the rotation stays as it grows bigger and turns into a wall of water that spirals.

After performing the technique, I want you to point out some details you noticed when performing it. Are there any bad things you've noticed or perhaps some good points? For example, this technique for me would be a decent way to create a source of water from, however the fact that it requires hand seals is off putting. Worry not though, if you choose to specialize in the release, you'd be able to one day perform it with a single hand seal.

Relaxing at the training ground , Yusei with his back to the trunk of a large tree could be seen staring into the lake of water in front him.Watching the slow moving currents of the water , was like a cleansing of the soul as Yusei lost sight of all his worries and problems for a few brief moments.Being brought back to reality by a falling raindrop , Yusei's train of thought had shifted to his original purpose for him being there , to continue his Suiton training.A certain teacher of his nicknamed after a flightless bird had gotten lost on the path of life leading Yusei to find a new teacher to learn under.However as faith would have it Yusei found his new teacher after defecting to the Hidden Mist Village , a village known for its Suiton mastery and overall thirst.As a new member , Yusei had made friends with a fellow Kiri Shinobi in the form of Mangetsu Hozuki a notable water user who offered to continue his training.

The drizzle of raindrops now becoming a full on shower of rain led to a symbolic entrance as Mangetsu appeared , symbolizing Yusei's knowledge of suiton growing under the guidance of his new teacher."My name is Mangetsu Hozuki and I will be taking over your water training. "Right to it then eh , so be it."Yusei despite his overall lazy attitude , was a fast learner easily grasping what he was being taught.So just as instructed Yusei preformed 3 hand-seals Boar-Dog-Ram in the following order then put out his right palm outward. He then used his chakra to focus on the moisture in the air around his palm, clamping the water molecules together forming a small amount of water,Yusei then proceeds by manipulating the shape of the water rotating it at great speeds forming the water to something similar of a mini vortex of water. Yusei then gives a sudden thrust of the hand causing the vortex of water to expand forming into a large wall of rotating water."Well that wasn't too bad now was it"

"After preforming the jutsu for the first time my analysis is this.Its a versatile water jutsu that has a number of pros.Such as being able to not only be used as a straight forward attack on its own but because its water it is easily able to combine with a compatible lightning jutsu sending a shocking water vortex at the opponent.Another Pro is the jutsu itself is not purely offensive , it doubles as a formidable defense the end result of course being a rotating "wall" of water.Also of course you mentioned using it for a water source that is a solid pro as well because whether this jutsu overpowers another or is overpowered by another the end result will be the water falls to the ground creating an existing source of water to draw from.However this a double edged sword as there is nothing stopping the opponent from using it as a source for his jutsu either.So that's something to note when thinking about the end result of the jutsu as with some other water jutsu that leave usable remains.Another Con as you mentioned is the 3 hand seals , Being in a situation where the user is forced to defend something fast such as an opposing Lightning Jutsu could be very difficult to defend with this because of the speed in which this jutsu would take to preform.Sadly as an Uchiha I have a natural affinity for fire that and I have devoted myself to Raiton as it is my favored element.I hope this will suffice for now."

It didn't last long it seems. Mangetsu left, and I just saw him pass through the field heading for the training grounds. It seems like there was an argument between them, or the student didn't satisfy him...making such predictions was foolish and uneducated of me either way. The reasons could be obscurely different in each case, so I wouldn't know unless I would ask, but this was not my matter. I simply passed through the young Kirigakure shinobi, as I head towards another one. He used to be one member of the same village as me, but it seems like he seemed calm and collected, his village must have treated him right, it kinda makes me smile, and think back at the time with Lancer and the training under his guidance. That man is now the Mizukage, I smile as I think to myself...How time flies. I get shaken back to reality, as I look into the eyes of my student and greet him naturally.

Greetings Yusei, it surely has been a while. I am glad that you seem healthy and by the looks of it...you have surely grown. But, this is not the time for me spouting about nostalgia is it? This is your water training. I heard the reply to the technique Mangetsu was teaching, and I have to say, I am impressed by your knowledge, but there is a slight correction. Unless you have a clone or an ally, or even Yin-Yang, you cannot use the lightning along with this technique. It is a stream, so using them simultaneously is impossible in your case. A small error, anyone would have made it. So....I simply want to continue in the same pace, before I slightly speed up the training. I am sure your current knowledge and skill would be able to take it.


Saying so, I smile slightly and simply begin with training naturally.

One of the most iconic techniques seen in the series. First used by the Demon of Kirigakure, I guess it fits you it seems. Either way, this technique is initiated after making a total of 44 handseals, so you will simply forget it using it in a battle because the enemy will kill you 50 times over until you reach to the last handseal. An exceptional rule, is if you are hiding or have primary water specialty giving you the chance to perform the technique with just one handseal. Either way, from an existing water source, preferably a larger one, like a River or a lake, you will affect the water using your chakra. Rise the water above in form of a pillar and shape it. Give it the appearance of a hungry serpent like dragon with yellow/red glowing eyes. This technique can only be used in B rank power with no specialty in water, so be careful about it, but once you hit the enemy, the water will deal enough physical damage to break every bone in your enemy, making the attack very much lethal. With of course, a very high amounts of drawbacks, it is simply iconic. I want you to use it against my clone, which looks like Zabuza and he will use the exact same technique as you will, in the same pace, reliving that amazing scene in the manga or anime. Go stand on that water along with my clone, I will be waiting. And after that, simply explain the technique to me.

Yusei addresses his friend while keeping in mind his new status as a teacher,and completely ignoring it."Sup Six" referring to him by his old nickname,he got it for eating a 3 boxes of donuts in 6 seconds."You can skip the formalities just teach me stuff,but don't be boring.With that Yusei had set the stage up for his friend and at the same time had tried to establish that him being the teacher didn't mean he was going to act any differently.And now the continuous rambling of the two would begin as Yusei would constantly talk as Six was talking.44 hand-seals, are you serious this jutsu just lost all appeal (really though I always thought it was 22).Ok well not all appeal, but Im certain I wont use this technique much ... if at all.Ok, so hiding is a must if I'm not a specialist in the field of water, and it requires a water source.I gotta be honest you telling me all this before mentioning what the technique even does makes me feel like I'm not going to use it and that we should skip it, no, ok then.A Serpent that after making contact with the target breaks every bone in their body sounds pretty cool, you should have started with that.I would rather an uniconic jutsu with no drawbacks but beggars cant be choosers I guess.You want me to recreate the scene he said with a somewhat annoyed face, do I look like one of those geeks that cos-play this isn't happening ... 3 minutes later Yusei had finally caved and preformed the transformation technique to take on the appearance of Kakashi Hatake the Copy Ninja much to his senpai's enjoyment and his own embarrassment.

Looking at the Zabuza clone, Yusei decided to just go with it and decided to act for no apparent reason,none what so ever. "Zabuza you fiend, I cant let you escape after what you did,trying to look as heroic as possible as he did so."Now wait for your demise as I preform these 44 hand-seals, seriously wait don't go anywhere.With that Yusei began stringing together hand-seals as he inserted his chakra to the lake beside him.Finally completing the hand-seals the technique began to show itself as Yusei rose the water into large torrent of water that he then began to shape into a large serpentine creature with red eyes thirsting for the blood of the Zabuza he directed it at. Making contact with the clone the pleasuring sound of broken bones could not be heard as the clone was quick to disperse.Now taking on the roll of kakashi the dramatic as he said "Those who disregard the rules are scum but those who abandon their friends are worse then scum."Why was he still transformed as kakashi, why was he acting, and what friends were he talking about, the world may never know.Dispersing his transformation Yusei recalled how embarrassing that was, to a laughing senpai who seemed to find Yusei's immersion of the theatrical art amusing.With a throbbing forehead and a clenched right fist Yusei said what now."Explain the jutsu" at that moment Yusei couldn't help but feel like teachers were useless why not just make a library card and take my time studying the scrolls at the NW Library, oh well it was too late now anyways.

Yes an incredibly iconic technique as you mentioned, maybe the most iconic water jutsu in the series.Nonetheless Iconic doesn't mean the best,and in my case its far from it.The actual technique isn't bad, in fact I like it a lot.In simple terms it's a basic technique that relies on manipulating large amounts of water from a water source and shaping it into a serpentine beast in terms of appearance that you release towards the opponent for blunt physical damage.The technique is simply that with no special abilities the whole concept is simple a focused large amount of water sent at the opponent to break every bone in his body.Not that it cant be used in other ways, just the basic purpose.The jutsu itself is straight forward and easy to comprehend.Though despite that few people can actually or rather should I say will actually use it.The reasons being that is first and foremost two time consuming to preform for a ninja who has not devoted himself to the element of water.44 hand-seals in the modern ninja world is enough time for your opponent to kill you 44 times.The other reason being the need of a water source, not every terrain will harbor a source for your 44 hand-seal needing beast, and there are very few with the skill required to preform such a technique or others like it without the luxury of a water source like the late Tobirama Senju.That was an analysis from my point of view however it differs greatly from someone who unlike me has indeed specialized in the water element.For example Jakai,we know him we hate him but that doesn't matter what does matter is he is specialized in water and thus can preform all techniques with a single hand-seal.So from his point of view one the technique could be incredibly useful and used numerous times due to him not having the handicap of 44 hand-seals.With it being a large jutsu usable to defend an incoming attack or just be used directly.Though even to a specialist such as him the water source is needed.Now that I think about it actually I can never preform this technique without 44 hand-seals even those NB swords everyone talks about wouldn't help me since its against the law for one to be in the possession of an uchiha ... talk about discrimination, one uchiha tries to take over the world and put everyone into an eternal genjutsu and suddenly all uchiha are bad.With that a messenger bird arrived with a letter made out to yusei it was a letter from one of his countless female acquaintances. Takeing the Letter Yusei stopped talking and went to go read it completely ignoring what Six was about to say as he laughed at the contents of the letter.

OOC:I need you to clarify something for me.To my knowledge the first move of the Battle always has to go through.So If this were the first jutsu used would the opponent in fact have to wait for me to finish the hand-seals and preform the technique before countering?

Yeah no, I like Jakai actually. And I agree with your point. We all should stop Uchiha discrimination. They are humans too after all, how the hell dare they say that you can't be allowed power which can potentially run out of control? Well....I take that back of course, you Uchiha are all a disease. As for your question, it is very well places. TBVH, the law that the first move has to go through is an outdated piece. You would take this logically enough, I will not wait until you do 44 handseals, so, you can logically counter, preventing the enemy do even the first techniques. If those techniques, take a reasonable amount of time, it is for a fact that you can prevent it, even in the first move. I like your reply, I shall continue with the next technique.

Stating that, I simply poke my nose, and throw the boggie at you while flicking my finger.

This is a very nice technique BTW. You will make one handseal and use your chakra to materialize an orb of water close to you. This orb of water, can release very sharp whips, which are able to make very quick and precise turns, as well as reach quite a distance up to S rank. The ability to control those whips could be a wise counter against projectile techniques, as well against more than one enemy, or you dealing with the shadow clones which sometimes can surely be a pain in the ass. You will simply use the technique on my 50 clones which are playing hide and sike, and you will get to find them...but this time, rather kill them.

Water Dragon Whip is a simple water natured streaming technique revolving around shape manipulation. The user will do one hand-seal causing an orb of water to manifest. Once formed, the user can then release several sharp whips from the orb, with no real limit to the amount of whips. These whips are extremely agile able to make quick and precise movements, and because of the number of whips able to emerge from the orb of water they are capable of attacking one or several opponents able to impale them on contact.

Its a nice technique overall. The user has good control over the whips. As a result he is easily able to use it in a number of ways to defend against incoming projectiles such as kunai or techniques within reason despite being an offensive technique.In terms of brute offense the whips are rather fast and very sharp able to easily harm an opponent or several as well as countering techniques. Aside from its defensive and offensive capabilities its a rather simple technique and only requires one hand-seal to preform. All in all I like the technique and it will be one of my go to cannons.

Honestly I don't see any real defects or disadvantages of using this technique. Aside from the rank splitting for every whip manifested and that the user needs to fuel it with chakra to sustain it.

Question- Can I make the orb anywhere on the field? Hoe much chakra do I spend to sustain it every turn.

Alright, let's get started. I now want you to make a single seal then focus your chakra underneath and in front of you. By doing so, you'll create a jet of water that's dense enough to cut through rock (elemental strength and weaknesses still apply). With the next one, rummage through some more seals, then create a snake that's agile and flexible, use it to contort in various ways to catch your opponent off gaurd. Lastly, conjure a gushing flow of water under me, then shape it into a sphere limiting my air and movements.

(Suiton: Funshutsu Mizu Kinko) - Water Release: Gushing Water Imprisonment

Description: The user creates a flow of gushing water under the opponent which traps them in a sphere of water. The user can perform an attack while the opponent is trapped. This jutsu is similar to Water Prison Technique, though the user doesn't need to keep his arm in the sphere of water.

As instructed Atem begins to focus chakra in the direction beneath and in-front of him, after casting the tiger hand-seal. In doing so he causes an extremely dense jet of water that rages through the ground at a formidable speed, capable of breaking through solid rock. Having preformed the technique successfully, Atem gives a brief analysis of what he presumes are strengths and weaknesses of the technique as a whole. " Not much to say its a rather straight forward technique, the jet is fast and powerful but can easily be evaded as the jet cant change direction.

Atem then preforms the second technique making a set of handseals, he creates a large column of water that spins rapidly then takes on the form of a snake with an open mouth seemly ready to devour anything in sight as he, that once making contact with something carries them away into a river of water." Its a nice versatile technique able to easily follow the opponent, as well as create a future water source regardless as to weather it harmed the opponent or not making the technique a great one for possible water related combos. However the handseals are too many, but then again there seems to be a them with water snakes/dragons needing to many seals.

Finally Atem focuses his suiton chakra once more to create a flow of water beneath his teacher that gushes outwards into a sphere of water that entraps the teacher within." The technique is in my opinon a better version of water prision as no water source is need nor physical contact to maintain, making this one of the best water techniques in my eyes. Its uses are numerous easily able to catch the opponent off guard as well as like some other tech creating a water source for future use.

Alright I guess if this is what I got to do make you shut up on Skype then let’s go. Since you’re now with me I’d like to mention my training is mixed with discussion and performing. If I feel a jutsu is is kinda complex, I wanna test you to see how well you can utilize it/perform it and will check with the animed version unless it’s from a game I can’t find to make sure you did it right. Alright enough talking , if you make your replies more insightful and pleasant I might throw in some extra jutsu in posts so make them as detailed as you and make sure if any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

(Suiton: Mizurappa) - Water Release: Water Horn

- After preforming three hand - seals in their respective order. The user creates a somewhat large jet of water which he releases from his mouth, while holding his hand in a position similar to one would have when blowing a horn. The technique itself is very simple in nature, very reminiscent of a fire technique in how it works. As most fire techniques rely on streams or projectiles without much shape manipulation. This technique does the same and because of so It would be one of if not the technique I look to use when being attacked by a stream of fire as its the perfect counter in my opinon. An advantage of the technique is due to being released from the mouth the user has free control over his free hand. Allowing him to combo the technique itself by supplementing a few kunai and shuriken here and there. Aside from that The technique seems like a suitable way to to evade by projecting the stream towards the ground and get you out of harms way, correct me if I am wrong please. Another advantage is the user has a good extent of control in regards to directing the jet of water, via moving his head up, down. left, right and ect. A possible advantage/disadvantage could be the large amount of water left behind on the field able to be used a s a source for more water techniques by either the user or the opponent. As for interesting things I see this as an ideal jutsu to be used by a Ganmi able to have them make the jet of water corrosive to the touch.

- Another simple technique, the user merely focuses his chakra to have a "massive" amount of chakra drop down on the target from the sky. This is logically done by drawing in all the moisture in the above are to from into said water. The technique is certainly useful if used right. If one is skilled in the art of misdirection and is able to guide their opponents sight elsewhere while they have water form above them and drop could lead to a heft amount of damage. Also the technique is idea for those pesky elemental armors specifically fire and lightning. The water will simply douse the passionate flames of protection. While lightning has the chance of turning against its user, symbolic in a way as lightning at its very core is uncontrollable power and destruction. If the technique is weaker, the water will conduct it and not only cause damage due to the massive weight/momentum falling but causing shocking damage as well, having conducted the users own lightning technique. However as mentioned this only applies to lightning techniques weaker then said technique, techniques of the same rank will simply cancel each other out. Another advantage of the technique is that there is no real restriction on how far up one can create the water. With the higher it is logically causing more damage due to having more momentum although not without a cost as logically the higher up it is the more time it will require to fall. A creative use for this jutsu could be to use it on targets other then your opponent, like his jutsu for example more specifically sentient creatures or creatures in general being controlled by him via a jutsu or a real creature aka a summoning. Although to be quite honest im not sure such a way is valid since the technique directly mentions the "opponent" so clarification on this matter would be appreciated. On final advantage of this technique is its ranged prowess. Able to be used anywhere on the field, as well as being able to be cancelled at anytime in the off chance something unforeseen happens such as being drawn into the same area as the target. As for disadvantages. I can currently only think of one. Being that the water bust be held specifically above the target by 10 meter or higher to do any significant amount of damage. This is a disadvantage because one might not always be able to reach such a height due to terrain or jutsu being used. Such as fighting in an enclosed cavern like terrain where the roof is rather low, or simply being entrapped in a small cubical prison where the only viable method of attack is taijutsu due to how small the general area is.

- Will never forget this jutsu, and how Kakashi deduced it. One of the many moments of Kakashi being awesome. Now, back to the jutsu. I have a few questions in regards to this one. Ad advantage of the technique is it hides you from the target for a shot time and can virtually let you blend with any water source even a puddle allowing you many areas to hide especially if you are in a field with lots of water. One can not use jutsu while blended correct? Also can one blend with a water jutsu of his own. And if so can they be detected, I would venture to say they cannot. Due to the jutsu being composed of their chakra them being blended with it would make no difference since the chakra would appear to be the same. Also can this be used with variants of water such as mist, or sticky syrup? Also what would happen if I used this in something as large as a lake or ocean can I appear out of anywhere within the water. And piggy backing off my last question it was seen that the user can materialize parts of his body from the water such as when the mist shinobi showed his head, does this mean for example if I were blended I could materialize my arm beneath the opponent (if within range of course) and attack him?

Towards the ahead of the using it as a “project” to lift you off the ground is kinda up for debate to tell you the truth but I would assume you can in some situations if used correctly. Ill actually get some confirmation on this from a sensei later on. Yes it’s an ideal technique for us Ganmi members considering I used it in a practice spar. As for combos the thing about throwing of tools like Kunai is debatable considering I haven’t seen the technique animated for a while now but if it requires not to sustain the seal then yes it can really be used like that, and yeah the amount of residual water can be used as a water source by the enemy so it’s pretty situational and depends on the person you’re up against

Now moving onto the questions, the first one id have to flip a coin on because it’s a very…strange technique to me. It’s a watered down version of which a Hozuki clan member can do which is merge with water and use the water as an extension of their body. This one for certain id say no because youd need to constantly fuel chakra to sustain the form. I don’t think it would on the same scale as the Hydration Technique. As for blending into your own technique I don’t see a reason why not unless it’s a sustained technique which would point back to my original statement above.

Hmm hard call because one your chakra network would be overrun with water chakra which would be the same as the technique. Its really a hard call but I think Sensory users can be fooled minus Karin since she can sense emotions and such as well as people like the Ganmi who can do so as well. Byakugan users should be able to tell the difference and maybe the sharingan would be fooled as well. Nice thinking doe. The variants part id say no considering its blending into actual water and not moisture in general. In such a location no as your only going to be blended into a partial area of the water so you cant materialize it anywhere out like that. Maybe if the person is within arm’s length of you sure but I don’t think just “anywhere” as you mentioned. That would be heavily infringing into Hozuki clan Hiden techniques.

Description: The user will first perform the Dog hand seal and release his chakra into the atmosphere which will then create an accumulation of large storm clouds in the sky, which in turn produces rain. The large amount of rain falling all around can then be turned into a large wave of water which sweeps the enemy off their feet while wrapping around him and binding him in the flow of water around him. While the targets are trapped in the water, their chakra will slowly be drained away. The water vortex can be sustained and controlled for up to two turns as long as the user keeps the dog hand seal made.

(Suiton: Bakusui Shōha) - Water Release: Exploding Water Colliding Wave

- After preforming the snake hand - seal. The user creates a large amount of water which he releases from his mouth, that can either directly be spit at the ground to get the user airborne. Or be used to create a large wave of water that can be used as a means of travel, while also looking pretty cool. The technique itself seems simple but versatile. I have personally seen it used on many occasions. It allows you a nice way to evade techniques through the riding it as a wave method or using it get away from the danger through escaping into the air. The latter if done correctly could lead to a nice aerial counter-attack. And of course one of the simplest but most important benefits is the fact that it leaves the terrain with a nice water source for future water techniques. I have a few questions regarding the technique. It mentions being offensive, How does the technique do damage? Is it specific to the riding it as a wave use and slamming in to the target? Can the target preform techniques as hes riding the wave? How fast is the movement speed of the wave on average. Would this be a viable way to travel on top of the swamp of the underworld technique.

(Suiton: Uramiame no Jutsu) - Water Release: Grudge Rain Technique

- Ah the technique from which most chakra absorbing custom water techniques stem. After preforming a hand - seal the user will cause his chakra to effect the atmosphere and create a group of large storm clouds. These storm clouds will cause heavy rain to fall, the rain will then be manipulated into a large wave that that will travel towards the target and sweep them off their feet then proceed to bind them. Sapping their chakra for as long as they remain bound. The vortex of water can then be sustained for two full turns at the cost of the user holding the dog sign. A nice technique overall, though I do have some questions. These Storm clouds can they be used to preform Kirin? Being that the rain is falling everywhere and the range of the technique has no real limit. I assum the wave of water can be formed anywhere then directed towards the target correct?


( Suiton: Suishinshū ) - Water Release: Water Quaking Pillar

- This technique is alittle too simple :| , I guess its a nice defensive technique for head on assaults by the enemy. The problem with it is I dont find it easy to pull off. As essentially as one is rushing towards the user he would have to jump and then land with his sword to cause the water to burst around him and repel the enemy. Its really simple so I dont find any need to going to much more depth. I personally dont see myself using this much in the future.

Well firstly toward the questions. The damage would indeed come from the slamming of the wave onto the enemy. Its basically a “crushing” technique so to speak since the water rises and comes down with heavy force behind of it. The technique doesn’t boost your speed so its assumed youll be moving equal to your natural base speed. As for performing techniques while on the wave, Id say yes under the circumstance that your follow up technique doesn’t need a hand seal. This is because you might need to maintain the seal in order to keep the water active to continuously ride the wave. And the final question is yes, you can use it to ride on top of the swamp because the water will not sink into the swamp and will simply remain afloat so after using it you will be able to land onto the water but be careful since the enemy can use your own water against afterwards due to lacking chakra in it.

The question about Kirin is a no because the clouds used here aren’t statically charged with lightning. As for the forming of the wave, Id assume so but in order to build the momentum its best to say forming it from a range away makes more sense. Not 100% on that but its good to ask a sensei mod for confirmation or checking the actual technique. Ill look into it and let you know sometime later.

Yeah this last one isn’t as great but what can we do eh? Anyway moving onto the next set and also into A-ranks

Description: After doing the needed hand seals Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Ram → Boar → Ox → Horse → Monkey → Tiger → Dog → Tiger → Snake → Tiger → Ox → Monkey → Rabbit → Bird, the user will form a gigantic vortex of water in the form of a ring in front of him. It will then shoot a gigantic torrent of water that extends water over a large scale, surges upon impact and rises up to several dozen meters high only to collapse down, forming massive waves all around as it does. The effect is such that as its collapsing it resembles a waterfall, hence the name of the technique. In doing so, it resembles a huge wave, with tremendous power that can hollow out the ground. What remains after that technique's utilization is reminiscent of no less than the aftermath of a natural disaster. This is a considerably advanced ninjutsu, and activating this technique requires a fair amount of chakra. The normal use of the technique requires a water source which is manipulated into the technique but some users have shown the ability to use the technique as a water stream exhaled from the mouth and forming more of a gigantic barrage/stream/wave of water rather than the more intricate and complex use of the main application of the technique.
Note: Can be used with a water source or by using one's own chakra to exhale the technique without the need for a water source nearby.

(Suiton: Senkogenma Kujo) – Water Release: Flash Grinding Destruction

Suiton: Gufuu Suika) - Water Style: Typhoon Water Vortex

- A mixture of a wind technique and water technique used by Yamato and Naruto. Its a nice technique overall when countering things such as combos of fire and wind noted in the description. But the disadvantage is obvious you need a clone or ally to pull this off which makes it not something you can easily use. As by the time a clone is made the opponent has enough time to attack. Simple and useful in the right situation but preparation is a must obviously. Question what would the interaction between this and a lightning technique be. Would the wind overpower the lightning by a rank?


(Suiton: Daibakufu no Jutsu) - Water Release: Great Waterfall Technique


- A very powerful technique. Its strength is capable of hollowing out the ground itself. I never thought I would be able to use it due to the insane amount of hand-seal but given that I'm changing my second bio specialties I will be able to use it so swell. its pretty versatile since it can be used in more then one way. The original and more complex use requires a water source and a large one I would say but is worth seeing as the effect is stronger. But what is great about the technique is it doesn't limit one to needing a water source the second use of exhaling it as a stream or wave which allows one to get rid of that disadvantage. And allows several ways of using the same technique which is major advantage.


(Suiton: Senkogenma Kujo) – Water Release: Flash Grinding Destruction


- I really like this technique. Its very simple in nature relying on shape manipulation to create 4 chakras out of water which proceed to attack the opponent. This allows one to immediately follow up with any technique to add on to the pressure while the opponent is defending from the sharks. Although another obvious disadvantage the target needs to be standing on a water source making this technique specific to the situation at hand. Though one can always flood the battle field that preparation slightly lessens the value in my eyes but I do like the technique.

Not too hard here. You’re gathering a bunch of water from a water source to crash into the opponent and it is capable of reaching up to long range. It was even strong enough to push back the eight tails. No handseals needed, so if you are fighting with a viable water source that supports this jutsu (you are not using a puddle to use this jutsu. LOL) then this will be good in a pinch. Just keep in mind the little bit of time it would take to gather such an amount of water.

Description: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water around the user. The user will use the following hand seals to activate the technique Tiger → Snake → Rat → Snake → Tiger. Enemy attacks are completely intercepted by a fence of water blown out from the mouth, and is raised from below with tremendous might. The water is blown out in the form of a circle around the user, and it makes for a defence without openings. It is also possible for the user to control the amount of water and duration at will. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained even while defending one can easily go on to the next move, which is a great advantage. The wall can also be formed from a pre-existing water source.


Perform the five handseals and create a wall of water AROUND you. The water will be spewd out of your mouth so make sure you channel your chakra internally and then release it externally. It forms a circle around you so beware of attacks from above and below. You can control the amount and duration, so depending on the attack you are defending from you might want to make it smaller or larger and make it last shorter or longer. Be careful of lightning attacks although lighting could help strengthen this (if you use it correctly), wind could do the same.

Need a water source under the enemy. You cause it to explode in order to launch them in the air, you then jump above the enemy while creating a whirlpool of water around your arm and then strike the enemy with the whirlpool creating another explosion of water. Seems like a cool tech if you have a water source available and want to get in close range.

Needs a water source AGAIN. LOL, just 3 handseals though. This is simple, and you probably have this concept down. You use your chakra(Suiton) to create a vortex by spinning the water around you. It is a good defensive, and offensive jutsu. Souji used this in a creative manner in his second post of my sensei test. Check it out if you get the time. Hard to mess up this jutsu…again watch out from above and below. This seems like it would work well with wind. Imagine the vortex starting at your position and expanding outward to mid range.

- Love this jutsu. Its a wide scale technique and I love its potential for defense more so then offense as this would be a great Defense for Great Majestic Annihilation. As you mentioned Water is a concern as it such a large technique thus requiring a lot of water. But one can easily get around that with a few water technique or using a large scale water jutsu for a source. Though obviously a jutsu like this is most effective in a terrain with a river or large water source already present. I have a few lightning techniques that could make this technique very deadly offensively with a lightning surge running through it.

(Suiton: Suijinheki) - Water Style: Water Encampment Wall

- This one is pretty awesome as well. Unlike most walls which just put a wall lnfront of you to protect from frontal attack it surrounds you and is good jutsu for defense from any location. Again I have a jutsu that would electrify this in a way to boost it. One problem is I t might restrict vision though I doubt it since water is transparent that and attacks from above and the ground.


(Suiton: Kōka Suijin) - Water Release: Hard Whirlpool Water Blade

- A water source is required under the enemy which sucks but the technique itself is nice. the water explodes sends them into the air and yields much potential for combos and future attacks. Or even being flung up into an attack. Sorry for it being short its a simple tech.

(Suiton: Mizu no Tatsumaki) - Water Release: Tornado of Water

- this is like many other techniques it requires a water source and it creates a vortex of water. Its honestly like so many others theres nothing that really sets it apart.

The user will first perform the ram hand seal and then spits out a large amount of water that covers an entire area, with massive waves that can crush the opponent. Perform the ram seal and spit out large amounts of water that can cover the battlefield (or current area) with large/massice waves that will crush your target. The water forms into a giant orb rather than releasing. The orb of water has potential to be used as a water source. Good counter to most Fire jutsu if oyu want to play it safe.

Note: The Water Beast remains active for three turns

Note: Tobirama and Mei terumi can perform this without a water source.

Using a water source (unless you are Tobirama or Mei) you generate a powerful vortex around the enemy using your chakra. Swing your arm to send the water upwards which in turn sends your enemy in the air, and then dispel the water with a gestrure of your hand. Pretty simple.


The last ones before S ranks. I guess you're doing what your last teacher did. We can continue in his style...I wanted you to do crazy shiz and perform the jutsu. xD Your last teacher doesn't make you perform jutsu so we will just do that until you're finished.

In regards to some of your comments>>>>

First jutsu I have nothing to add as I explained it up there.

For the second jutsu vision would be blocked, but I believe you would still have some sort of view of what's in front of you; however, your vision would be slightly skewered as this isn't simply still water sitting in a sink. You would probably be unable to see the details of some movements.

As for the last jutsu you are correct that it is nothing special, but it is at the very least dependable. It is strong enough to knock someone unconscious so its not a tech that should be taken lightly. Unlike the "water wall" it can also be used to attack.

Sorry some of these are way to simple to warrant explanation. though I have a question what are the limitations of the orb can it be used to attack and defend is it controllable can I creat the orb around the target to entrap them?

essentially the water version of kakashis lightning wolf. only slightly better can be used to released pressurized blasts of water. I love water jutsu like this as they combo well with a cj of mine. Great jutsu can be used for attack an aid for combos and defense to tank an attack.

- Omg another vortex how swell. Well yeah a vortex form that knocks the user into the air which can then be dispelled. Very unique I must say. Well combos with this can be done easily using lightning to add a shocking propery or winf to make the vortex sharp and easily shred the opponent to pieces.
