In my opinion, Kaku wins high diff since he had a slightly higher doriki and a better DF.

Jabara extreme diff. 20 doriki is about as different as the Strength of two nameless fodder marine soldiers which is really nothing. I mainly give it to him due to his tekkai that can boost his attack strength.

What makes Jabra's specialization in Tekkai better than Kaku's specialization in Rankakyu?

What Rankakyu? you mean the one that took so much time charging and was ultimately dodged by everyone in the room too? I mean their tekai might be equal, perhaps kaku's is somewhat stronger, but really it won't be as effective when jabara can maiantain it while moving and can boost his attack with while kaku can't do the same

You do realize that Kaku has more than one Rankakyu move right?

Others are not capable of breaking jabara's besides, jabara had more than 2 other rankkakyus. And even his own close range move. I mean the one that countered shishi son son is the strongest and even then you have no knowing of how it is offensively used

A rankyaku from kaku in his hybrid form matched Zoro's shishi sonson which was going to break through Kaku's tekkai, someone of lower doriki, and it was a nimble move. I don't see Kaku having much problem getting past Jyabura's defences within his attacks. And continuous attacks from his four sword style were something even Zoro was on the defensive against most of the time. Jyabura hasn't shown anything that can counter those continuous attacks, though Kaku's non rankyaku related moves won't work. Imo it's a high difficulty fight.

Only move really breaking his tekkai is the one that cut the galley in half which is not hitting Jaburya.

If Zoro's shishi sonson was shown to be able to break through Kaku's tekkai, evident by the fact that he had to use rankyaku to stop it, then it would definitely work against jyabura and so would Kaku's attack. The biggest rankyaku is overkill and it can very well hit jyabura considering the first one wasn't really the final attack and was just a demonstration(said by Kaku himself) if Kaku would use it to finish jyabura and not just randomly show off but that's not really necessary here in this specific battle and kaku is better off not using it.

You're assuming Kaku and Jaburya's tekkai are equal which is absurd because Jaburya is the tekkai specialist while the only attacks that may work eliminating Kaku's main offense which is his swords. Kaku said he was giving a demonstration but the way the final attack looked was the exact same as the first and it has a long build up to it.

The thing which he had what the others didn't was the ability to use tekkai while moving. And even then if there are doubts and we go by what you say, Kaku had more doriki and more physical strength because of being a giraffe which also makes his speciality(rankyaku) stronger, it would go back in his favor.
It looked similar that's why the first one was a demonstration, but the outcome wasn't was the same.

I hope people don't forget that Jabra is the only one who can move while using tekkai. Zoro's last two attacks(the very last one being Asura) that beat Kaku landed without him using tekkai as he was moving. Kaku blocked 2 of Zoro's attacks using tekkai but retreated because they still hurt.

2 attacks took out Kaku while it took 7 hits to take out tekkai Jabra, two of which were DJ to the stomach and face.

Doesn't that kinda tell you that Zoro's attacks are just very strong? Even Asura turned the final Amanedachi to mist and just it's demonstration earlier cut the tower of justice. So really, why underestimate kaku if he lost to those sort of attacks?
Nice sig tho.

I'm not underestimating Kaku, his durability isn't amazing outside Tekkai seeing how only two moves cleanly shit him before getting dropped. Heck he got dropped as soon Zoro went all out, it's not underestimating to say Jaburya might beat him, though it will not be easy. Thanks about the sig.

It's only logical he would get one shot by Asura. Even Jyabura shuddered abit after seeing the first amanedachi and it was clearly a very strong move and Asura completely overwhelmed the final one, you can the difference between the two. If a shishi sonson was going to break his tekkai then it's not even a question with this move and Zoro can give jyabura the same treatment with that sort of power but we would not underrate his durability(with or without tekkai) because of that when comparing him against kaku now would we?

Yes I agree, this is Jyabura's fight to win. He is better equipped for a fight between the two of them.

All Kaku's medium attacks won't do damage because of his tekkai + movement combo
All Kaku's strong attacks take a long charge time and are slow, and Jyabura is the most agile of the two.

So it will come down to a battle of timing where both have a small window of hitting each other. Since Kaku goes in defence mode and stay still in one place and moves around without protection he is more vulnerable to Jyabura's high speed attacks like Local area network and Lupus 4.

Kaku can't overcome those flaws in his defence with just 20 extra doroki. Which is just 2 fodder marines.
