[Discussion] Misunderstanding about 'Pirate King'

Being a Pirate King doesn't mean ur strong, if Usopp found the One Piece then he'd be Pirate King, but that wouldn't make him strong(er). Even if one became Pirate King he'd have to defend his title..

Oda has also hinted and even made Luffy say he needs to become stronger than 'anyone else'...so that makes twoo already.

Why would they go after One Piece?

Also, because Marineford was just one on one fights that went all the way to the end and were never interrupted or cancelled? So a larger scale war would definitely be the same :|

Except that's exactly how WB died and we had tons of panels of WB being attacked by groups, and fights were interrupted by others(Marco kicking Aokiji, Jozu slamming Aokiji).

Becoming the PK doesn't depend on strength as all you need to do is find the One Piece. One can say that you need alot of strength to find it but Buggy the warlord says otherwise. Buggy is the perfect example that you can achieve greatness in a sea of monsters while being weak.

Its just that with Luffy's adventures and the people that he is pissing off, he is going to need alot of individual strength or else he'll never achieve his dream and be killed. A very capable crew is an extremely important necessity as well as without that, becoming PK is impossible.

What? That still doesn't change that in a war scenario, getting jumped by a group of people at once is a very viable scenario, as shown when it happened to WB so many times, the injuries added up to his death.

its a trend dude u get that right even if we leave plot out of it. the trend is likely that u would very likely not make it raftel with the likes of yonko like shanks and kaido there if you're weak.
