Amongst being strong, Hinata is true royalty. Descendant of Hamura Otsutsuki her chakra is special. She is beautiful, elegant, loyal and honest. She has been loyal/faithful to only Naruto since the beginning.

People always say she is second rate to sakura, Naruto met lady hinata long before sakura. Sakura isn't/wasn't always loyal to her "love" sasuke. Infact she had eyes for sai and even Naruto.

If Naruto was a ****boy he could've had sakura at this moment.

Exactly, this. It's a matter of taste. Not everyone has to like Hinata. People hate Hinata for the same reason other people hate Sakura. And obviously, her type, character, development, attitude, personality, all are crappy at times, and good at times. Same with other characters. I personally dislike Hinata... personal preference.

Thanks. And yeah, that's how I see things, and I believe they should be. And actually, I don't "hate" Hinata, I just don't like her.

@bold Exactly, and perfectly stated... Not everybody is supposed to like a character because everybody has different preferences. And nobody can justify how good that character is neither can anybody justify that character is bad, because you like her, it's your preference. I don't, that's mine.

And mostly, people see that as offense to their fav character if another person says I don't like him/her. And in response to that, they start targeting that person's favorite character just to defend their fav and insecurity, which is totally unreasonable.

To nobody ever in the world you can convince that Android is better if that person likes the iPhone and vice versa. That's preference stuff, and that's why BOTH companies thrive in business because they target people's DIFFERING preferences.

People either hate her because of her personality, which is understandable, though I personally love her for her personality, since I'm a lot like her.

Or, of course, they hate her for her lack of character development, again, that's understandable, especially given that she showed a lot of promise of becoming a pretty well-developed character when she first appeared. I guess most people, including myself, are just disappointed that her whole subplot with her clan and role as heiress never went anywhere and she just became pairing fodder.
