December 14th: Issue #2 – NO CHAPTER
December 21st: Issue #3-4 – One Piece Chapter 810
December 28th: No Shonen Jump
January 4th: Issue #5-6 – One Piece Chapter 811
January 11th: No Shonen Jump
January 18th: Issue #7 – One Piece Chapter 812

Yeah I know right, why can't those asshats work during christmas and at the end of the year. Screw their families, they need to supply pirate sites one week before it's published for paying costumers so that you can read your manga right ?

Oda isn't taking the break, SJ is. Oda still draws during the breaks. Not to mention the chapters SJ releases are like, 6 weeks behind the chapter is working on in a given week. We got 809 this week, Oda is already drawing 816, so it makes even less sense for an Oda break to warrant a SJ break.

It was during a thread about a break a while back. I think it was Love Cook who linked us to something saying Oda still worked, or he said it himself. I can't recall.

SBS of vol 6, Oda mentioned that he has drafts of around 3 chapters ready from the one that is released and that it could change in future.
