What is Rikudo Chakra?

Juubito had the 10-Tails' Senjutsu, some Hagoromo Chakra from the Rinnegan, and the Gedo Statue.



They aren't specifically Rikudou power; Kaguya can use them, too. They're just high-level Yin/Yang Senjutsu, so you pretty much have to be Rikudou-enhanced or a Juubi Jin.

You need six paths senjutsu to use TSB.

As far as I know Six Paths Chakra comes from the fruit of the Shinju originally. It may be the original most purest form of Chakra.

Probably why the Oktsutsuki's chakra is so strong. They all might use Six Paths as base. But only a select use Six Paths Senjutsu.

Rikodou chakra is basically the chakra of Rikodou Sennin, Hagoromo. And probably Hamura too.

It can be attained in different ways (as shown in the manga):
1. Inheriting it from Hagoromo (Indra and Ashura's case)
2. Directly receiving it from Hagoromo (Naruto and Sasuke's case)
3. Or by combining Indra and Ashura's chakra to form it (Madara's case)

Note that all Rikodou chakra will not be of the same type. For example, Indra and Ashura had Yin and Yang Rikodou chakra respectively which are different types of Rikodou chakra with different potency as well. Although Rikodou chakra is one with no disparity in type generally, its Yin and Yang constituents can differ in properties, as shown with Indra and Ashura as well as Sasuke and Naruto.

Also, not all Rikodou chakra of the same type will have the same power or potency. It depends upon how mature they are. For example, Rinnegan Madara may not have the same chakra potency as Hagoromo despite having the same exact chakra.

Now coming to the question of how a JJ like Obito can have Rikodou chakra. Well, Juubi's chakra and Hagoromo's chakra are essentially the same type of chakra, they are more closely related than you think. Kaguya is basically the Juubi, so naturally, her chakra is the Juubi's chakra. Hagoromo being Kaguya's son means that he inherited the same chakra i.e. Juubi's chakra. It may not be similarly powerful but it is definitely the same TYPE of chakra as the Kaguya i.e. Juubi. Which is why becoming a JJ will grant you Rikodou chakra and Rikodou Senjutsu.

Well given the explanation the manga's given us, Obito even having Rikudou Chakra is a plot hole (if it's even mentioned that he had it). Obito had the Juubi.

It's not a plot hole. Hagoromo's chakra is the same type of chakra as Juubi's chakra.

Obito had Uchiha genes which come from Indra. He then got a white Zetsu transplant which had Hashirama cells which in turn came from Ashura.

Indra (Uchiha Bloodline) + Ashura (Hashirama Cells) = Hagoromo/Rikudou chakra.

I think Obito always had Rikudou chakra within him in an inactive form.

It's the type of chakra Hagoromo, Hamura, and Kaguya posses. You can get it by:

-Awakening Hamura's power and gaining Tenseigan by mixing Hyuuga and Ootsutsuki's chakra.
-Awakening Hagoromo's power and gaining Rinnegan by mixing Indra and Ashura's chakra.
-Being given the chakra directly (See Naruto and Sasuke and Hagoromo)
-Having the Juubi. (See Obito and Madara after becoming Juubi Jins)

Hamura, Hagoromoo, and Kaguya all had rikudou chakra.

Rikudou chakra is a generalized chakra that people can attain while meeting certain standards. Because dms Kakashi was given rikudou chakra yet he had no Indra or Ashura's chakra inside of him.

To obtain rikudou chakra, you can get it from ashura+Indra chakra, Gedo chakra, Juubi chakra, and one from hagoromoo's seals.
Obtaining rikudou chakra is t the same has having Hagoromoo's exact chakra itself, the closest one would be to mix ashura+Indra's chakra or did what Rinnegan Sasuke did to achieve his.

So someone like Kakashi had rikudou's chakra, but he doesn't have hagoromoo's chakra.

You could say that Rikudou chakra also depends on skills connected to it and it's use. It seems like it is either of the following...

Rikudo chakra = Ashura's chakra + Indra's chakra

or

Rikudo chakra = all bijuus together

He didn't put the rikudou chakara into Naruto. He put Shukaku and Gyuki's chakaras into Naruto.

Bijuu chakara is not the same as rikudou chakara. Obito kept the rikudou chakara as evidenced by the fact that he was later able to give it to Kakashi.

Rikudou chakara= chakara possessed by Hagoromo and the juubi. You can obtain it by fusing Indra and Asura's chakaras, getting chakara from Hagoromo himself, taking chakara from a 10 tails jinchuuriki like Obito did with Madara, or becoming the 10 tails jinchuuriki yourself.
