I'm not sure how being in one's subconscious would diminish their Bijuu's ability. Naruto opened the seal which enabled Kurama to release his power completely at the time. Saying it was plot is a terrible argument.

Basically, the Sasuke that fought Killer Bee was a 3T Sasuke who lost CM and was weakened from his previous fights. He used MS only twice in the fight and MS powers only once i.e. Amaterasu, that sent Killer Bee screaming like crazy.

Amaterasu only affects a transformed Killer Bee. Naruto blocked Amaterasu with his normal v1 chakra shroud. Killer Bee would have still won the fight if he wanted.

However 5 kage summit Sasuke is above KB because of Amaterasu. Susanoo would force Killer Bee to transform then Amaterasu would hit him
