Hey there ladies and gentlemen, I just noticed that the magazine opened a teaser website with a "countdown to the next generation".

This is most likely a countdown for presumably a new Boruto manga series.

Wow....sh*t. That's actually quite likely.

Please no. Like, I loved Boruto and the characters but it had such a nice end. Luckily, most of these reveals aren't major in the past and this is old artwork of these characters.

Good that it focuses on new generation since they received very little screen time, but Lord Sasuke should still get the most screen time regardless of anything. Don't care if the title is "new generation"...

You say that right now but I'm 100% sure you would read/watch new Boruto related stuff. :yeah:
Yeah maybe in 5 years when Kishimoto takes a break.

You ever heard of the idiom, "Too much of a good thing, will become unpleasant over time?"

I like Boruto, and the next generation, but like I expressed in your thread was it ... There's nothing good to come out of another Naruto continuation of some kind. Comparing it to Part 1 Naruto is a bit of a joke. You went from characters who actually suffered to characters whom have daddy problems. It's a no brainier that the series would suffer more in the long run.. I'm already content with what I have right now. I'm extremely grateful for the characters whom I have continued to enjoy over the years, and the relationships they share with other characters are enjoyable for me too. Plus the new characters whom they introduced.

That being said, it needs to end.

In my personal belief, I think the series has past it's dues and should just allow itself to end permanently on a good note.

It's essentially the Batman case, where you either die a hero, or you see yourself as the villain in terms of a manga/animation series.

(Kind of like how Spongebob and Family Guy refuses to die, despite being panned out to death).

Right... there's no point for these characters anymore :lol

I really don't care about Bolt or Sarada to watch them become adults and achieve their goals. Their own struggles are already over, so a continuation would just make this story even more dry. Boruto will more or less be wandering around doing missions, and then Sarada will be sitting doing Hokage paperwork.

Then you have a whole bunch of next "next" generation children. Who tf wants to see that wash, rinse, and repeat ... When Part 1 Naruto characters have a way more captivating ending considering the fact we have been following these character for 15 years? And "captivating" isn't even the right word for my thoughts on Chapter 700, and I know damn well a Boruto ending would literally make me feel nothing.

Plus all the central storyline about Naruto have concluded, including the things that happened in the past(such as the case with the Otsutsuki Clan and such).

There's nothing anymore to conclude, Naruto is over, just let it be so.

Don't care about any of the kids. If Naruto, Sasuke and some of the old chars aren't going to be appearing regularly, this is going to be boring.

Not that it's actually confirmed there'll even be a manga continuation. These countdowns tend to be all hype.
