Unsure, Manga UK knew stuff about Boruto before the film was released in Japan. Still- that sentence still works under the pretence that the reveal is: Gaiden will be animated.

What did they know exactly o-o? Seems weird that Manga UK would know something before any other Anime outlets would. Considering the fact that they have no direct connection to Kishimoto, or his editor, right?

I think Kishimoto as an author needs a good few months off. He just finished 700, and then immediately started writing the Boruto Movie script. I'm also up for the idea of him trying out new things, outside of Naruto.

Plus in my opinion, they can definitely make something interesting at first, but whether they could continue to drag an already ending story without it losing its 'taste' ... It's Kind of hard to imagine. I think if Naruto were to return in a few years with Kishimoto having a different outlook on what he wants to do, and has different ideas, then it would be worth the break.
