Yeah, Sasuke wasn't good or bad, but rather he was pure, only following himself and believing what's right. Kishi's words paraphrased, not mine.

Thing is, Naruto started off like that. Being outmatched but using cleverness, being unpredictable & having more wit made him victorious. But they wavered away from that as most have said in the past. It went back to its roots against Kaguya but it didn't stick during the final clash.

This should have been that. It would make far more sense for Sasuke to be defeated by Naruto in this way for him to actually witness Naruto's level of friendship and determination, and have a change of heart.

What happened by changing though? Final clash sucked big time.

It should have been that Sasuke should have comfortably fought Naruto and Naruto should have overexerted himself to fight Sasuke, for an ideal fight, with the fight resulting in a draw or Naruto's win. In this fight, Naruto didn't fight Sasuke with relatively more difficulty as he should have, my point. If anything, it was equal difficulty and pressure for both, the pressure wasn't just on Naruto.

Sasuke didn't get defeated. He personally accepted defeat and acknowledged Naruto. If anything, history shows that Sasuke soloed Naruto multiple times, other than the draws of course. Sasuke, just like Indra, defeated his rival in the past, but never got defeated even once, only equaled.

Him being a villain is a vastly subjective matter and a moot point. To me, he was the absolute catalyst-piece of the entire plot. Every single thread either starts from his actions, is shown through him, or ultimately connects to him. He has manipulated the plot and the plot has manipulated him; he houses BOTH character types within himself and that alone is quite the achievement on Kishimoto's part.

The dynamism surrounding his character is one of the finest piece of penning I have come across in a long, long time and I am an avid reader of Literature. Every scenario brings about an inconsistent alteration in him and his responses are a direct after-effect of the said plot thread.

So yes, despite the different viewpoints on character, the characterization is almost unmatched in most domains. I always find it silly when people claim they find so and so better written, when Naruto as a manga doesn't function on dynamic characters. There is very little development for most of them.

Sasuke might as well been a villain seeing how he was going to inevitably lose.

But he's a anti hero even though he spent a majority trying to murder people and plot to destroy konoha. Which at that point kind of did make him a villain but he was about as threatening as a idiot can get.

Seeing how Naruto basically told him he was going to fail and die if he attacked the village and how he stopped him from killing more people, I'd say he wasn't strong at all. In power maybe, but<b> his resolution to do his plans crumbled and he started crying like a little girl.[/b>

He didn't kill others because he made a promise to Naruto that he wouldn't kill anyone from Konoha til he dealt with him. If he didn't honor his promise, then he surely would have killed others, atleast if he never met up with Itachi again.

He never wanted to be a traditional Hokage, he wanted to protect the world & Konoha from the Shadows like a true Shinobi, which he's been doing for years, bettering the world & helping to ensure peace is maintained. As Naruto said, he is the best Shinobi, & he is the Other Hokage.

1) What do you mean before? Before he learned the truth, the only person he aimed to kill was Itachi, after it was the Elders & Konoha Citizens. He went to the Kage Summit, succeeded in killing Danzo, then met up with Naruto hence the promise not to go after anyone else from Konoha til he dealt with him.

He honored his family, hence wanting to avenge their murders. Do you really think that doesn't make sense?


2) It is nitpicking, & trolling. He never cried like a girl, a single tear is not much. Do i need to remind you how much Naruto cried, & the situations it was in? He was in nowhere near as much pain Sasuke was in, yet highly saddened by the situations. Whereas Sasuke maintained his composure, & didn't break down like Naruto did at all, able to keep his chill even whilst being physically exhausted, unable to move, having an arm blown off & bleeding to death. So if you consider that to be crying like a little girl then surely you think Naruto was much worse.

3) You're too busy twisting things up to make him look bad, that you're overlooking basic things. Momo wanted to capture all the Bijuu - Sasuke's plan included getting rid of all the Bijuu so no one could ever negatively use them again. Momo wouldn't have any need to even go to earth if the Bijuu weren't there, thus the world wouldn't have been endangered by him, thus Sasuke having protected everyone again.

But that's shit right?

Toneri was a scrub. Sasuke could have taken him out faster than Naruto.

Also, Naruto had no plan whatsoever about Momoshiki. Despite Naruto & Sasuke both hearing from Black Zetsu about Kaguya wanting an army, Sasuke was the only one who kept this in mind & was smart enough to investigate why. He was also the only one who could possibly even attain information - being able to teleport to Kaguya's dimensions.

Funny how you tried using Momo against him, when he actually can be used against Naruto, who was completely ignorant about him. But then again, Naruto' s plan included working with everyone, including Sasuke, who you keep downplaying. He knew Sasuke was neccessary in their goals of world peace coming true.
