flame=fire xdnot only the flame, fire itself but the heat, blure, color fall on render and evertything around.... thats the pain in the ass
and I know ti dude, thats why i hate to make fire jutsus, look at vergil's sig, even thought it was old one, but it is a simple version of the fire.

about border dont even mention it..... i couldnt come with better solution, in the end i just "**** it, this will do " everything went smoothly until susano got into picture, it was freaking pain in the ass to play with fire over him, 16 layers of only 1 fire effect, not to mention flames and shades, blending modes on fire and layers with soft light brushes for orange glow effects
and if you dont name layers or make groups.. i usualy dont do that, u spend lots of time in serch for current place u need to edit thanks for cnc
id like to see your version of fire
to improve you must start using difrent solution and try do smth hard

in ulquiorras Signature he used 30% edited brushes 70% edited textures, its not hard, but it needs more than just a avarage skills i think
