I would assume Knowledge.Well lets start off with the basics. What is the most powerful thing in the RP?
No, Madara bios :|I would assume Knowledge.
LolNo, Madara bios :|
I kid lol, Yeah you're right. First of all the best method for training yourself is to understand your own limits and Jutsu. Over the years, i've seen the Jutsu list grow to the extent it is now. But through being a sensei I constantly checked the list to see what was at my disposal to use them to my advantage. People think power lies with customs, but they have the most restrictions in my opinion. I know that's weird coming from me, I have around 500 customs. But the cannon list in itself is the true power if used right.
Sorry to be a drag, but I'm going to give you the fight to read as an example of using my knowledge of the Jutsu list, along with other factors such as terrain and situation to my advantage. Planning 3 moves ahead.
I'm not doing this to be saying "I'm amazing, look at me", I'm doing this to show you how much power lies behind planning, knowing your Jutsu and using the foundations of ninjutsu in the best way possible.

I will be the first to admit, a story isn't for everyone in the rp. Not everyone wants to do that. That's my own way of making the rp fun. But it can help develope your skills for the one reason of you're trying to stay in character, you restrict yourself to certain elements to stay in character and by doing so you have to think smart and not about power. As you can see in that fight hiding rather than going head on, played out for me to use toad flat shadow control like Jiraiya.Lol
What I learned from the battle:
- I don't take advantage of the terrain
- I relay on Jutsu and not other tools (e.i Kunia, Shuriken, etc.) at my disposal.
- Unable to build a story
I think that was the problem, I don't restrict myself on what my Bio character would do in the situation.I will be the first to admit, a story isn't for everyone in the RP. I restricted myself to what Jiraiya could use and it forced me to think outside of the box and use basic Ninjutsu to hide and take advantage. Can be quite fun if you give it a try. In the same situation, terrain plays the biggest part of a battle. Are you on water? If so how can it be used?
Example: Stood on the ocean how to take advantage. I'm a water ninja, so I use hidden mist which is easy with the water source, then release the chakra from my feet so I sink into the water. From what I can remember there is a water Jutsu that allows you to push yourself through the water. Push to them while they deal with the mist and attack them from below.
Example 2: Battle in the valley of the end. Someone uses an F-ranked blast of fire at you, there is a water source, but I'm Jiraiya so I can't use water. What do I do? I use earth to break the ground below me so I fall into the valley away from the fire. Avoid an F-rank with the use of B/C rank earth.
It's all situational and how the fight takes its own path, though.
Any questions so far?
For the rest of the training i'd like you to pick one bio. And tell me what you have on that bio. Then we shall do situation assessment.I think that was the problem, I don't restrict myself on what my Bio character would do in the situation.
Got it. No question so far.
Using Tobi/Obito Uchiha Bio. Everything completed except Water/Suiton (C-rank).For the rest of the training I'd like you to pick one bio. And tell me what you have on that bio. Then we shall do situation assessment.
Ok, now what are the best points of your bio, what is his strength? and what is his weaknesses.Using Tobi/Obito Uchiha Bio. Everything completed except Water/Suiton (C-rank).
Obito/Tobi specialty in Fire Release and Sharingan are his strengths. His weakness is Water Release, Sealing Techniques (?), and other Doujutsu users like Byakuya - being able to close the chakra points - and Rinnegan - using Kuchiyose Rinnegan to cover its blindspots.Ok, now what are the best points of your bio, what is his strength? and what are his weaknesses.
I think you'd be better off trying with taijutsu also. You think at any time you can use phasing migration, so their attacks pass through your and then bam, close up hit. Most people panic and struggle close range as there are afraid to make mistakes and don't want to take a hit, so i like to play that off to my greatest advantage.Obito/Tobi specialty in Fire Release and Sharingan are his strengths. I am adapt in combat, but I don't trust my instincts.I think you'd be better off trying with taijutsu also. You say his weakness is water which i can agree with but that's against your fire, you can phase through it for the most part so it shouldn't be a big worry when staying in character. As for the other weaknesses:
Sealing - all bios are weak to sealing if you think of it in that sense seal anyone's chakra and they are screwed, maybe with the excption of lee bios and such that use strength and speed not chakra. As for other barriers, you can just phase through them again which no other bio can do.
Now doujutsu - they have the advantage to track your speeds but the advantages they have over you they have over all. Your sharingan is enough to counter other sharingan. Hyuuga you play the range game with them. And as for rinnengan. You can phase through the most powerful attacks.
What would you say are your own personal best abilities and why? And same for weakness.
