Satoshi patiently waits for his sensei in a small dojo. The dojo consisted of a wall of mirrors which were on the south wall(back of the room) , punching bags on the left side of the room and a bench press with a weight rack which consisted of weights which varied from 5lbs to 500lbs. To pass the time , Satoshi began doing push ups on the red tile floor in the center of the dojo.

Satoshi, we gotta learn the basics and then get stronger U_U Stand up young padawan! I'm pretty sure you have a solid understanding of what taijutsu is. Not that big of a deal. What I need you to tell is what are the basics of taijutsu. Just tell me in a sense, what do you need to write and lookout for when you're performing a taijutsu move against your opponent. Let's start with the very basics.

One of the main things you must take note of is your opponents physique. Body type is important since slamming a fat person would be harder than slamming a frail , bony one. Also armor is another factor. I must find spaces inbetween the armour and attack there or make a space in between the armor. Speed is the biggest factor to me when it comes to taijutsu. Landing your hit or even dodging first can change the tidef a whole battle. Also my enemies fighting stance or posture can give off hoe they are going to attack and they're fighting style.

In the NB RP, we don't take into account how big or short your biography is or their weight, we just assume everyone to be all the same height lmao. I mean, look at Lee and how thin he is and he's landing rock blowing strikes and moving mountains. Talking about armor, most CEJ or CJ or whatnot armors are fully body armor I'm sure but there are armors like the S-ranked cannon earth armor where their head isn't covered so that's a good point that you made.

Well what I was talking about in basics that the mechanics of taijutsu on narutobase~

1. Writing a clean description so your opponent is able to picture it and yourself too. Usually people over-write things and confuse the enemy.

(Gangeki) - Rock Attack
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will strike their opponent with a strong punch to the chest

Let me use this technique as example. Start to finish (assuming my dominant side is my right one) House darts off towards the enemy. When I'm within range, I regain my balance with a strong right foot on the ground infront of me and keeping a low stance while I thrust my right fist into your diaphragm. I turn my upper body to the left to put additional strength behind my strike and keeping my left arm to be ready to evade a potential counterattack. As my punch connected, I intend to lift your winded body into the air and swing you across above me and pummel you into the ground.

This would be a clear description. When your writing your description, try to write it as your moving in a clean smooth one simultaneous motion. Also, notice what additional things I added to my attack. I described the movement of my body and my attack so my enemy could have a clear view of what I'm doing. I used my upper body to deliver a more powerful attack and I put out my right foot to have a clear balance so if my opponent trying to pull me, it won't work. My balance keeps me balanced. I also added additional move to my attack. Also, notice how I exploited a weakness in the human anatomy. Which aspect did I exploit and why did I do it?

Taijutsu is all-in-all, very different from Ninjutsu. Some may struggle because they may have a hard time picturing things in motion but it's my favorite. Why is it my favorite? Because taijutsu you can't make a mistake in my opinion. You can always find a loophole and you can always have a counterattack of you have a clear picture of both of your movements. Ya kno, Just write it simple.

2. To be able to picture yourself and your enemy's movements in your mind. I usually see people struggle with this. Like how I described above. You may struggle in the beginning with writing a description but you'll get better.

3. BALENCE, BALANCE, and BALANCE. You always want to be in balance or be able to regain balance quickly against you enemy. Having a good footing on the ground (dominant leg infront and the other slightly behind you is a common stance to keep a good balance). Yup, like I said above.

4. You don't want to corner yourself where you're forced to defend, always keep the pressure on your enemy. Whether he takes a counterattack, you'll take a counterattack against that. You can always jump, duck, sweepkick, stepforward while turning anti-clockwise along the enemies right fist straight thrust. I'll teach you freeform along with the techniques we're going through. I'm the Sage of Gentle Fist so Taijutsu is one of the most useful skills for me.

Okay well your first technique and the mechanics of taijutsu in my understanding on NB. Any questions? If not, I'd like you to go into the D-ranks of taijutsu and pick your most favored taijutsu technique and try to perform it. here's a link:

" I'll be performing the Leaf Gale technique."
(Konoha Reppū) - Leaf Gale
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points:20
Description: This technique is a good example of how even simple taijutsu can become a pre-eminently destructive, lethal technique. The attack is a simple rear spinning low kick, but a strong enough user can send a large adult flying as if they weighed nothing. The goal is to throw the enemy off balance, and deal damage to the lower half of their body.
Satoshi created a clone composed of pure lightning chakra to be used as a dummy. Satoshi would bend his knees all the way down and plant both of his hands into the ground with his left arm being brought over to his right side. He then maneuvered his body to where he was able to swing his lower body into a clockwise arc. While doing so, he would keep his right leg , which was on the floor, bent while his left leg was struck out straight. He would continue this motion until he met the clones ankles. This caused the clone to instantly lose its balance and be sent rolling off until it met the wall . Satoshi then popped himself off of the ground by pushing himself upwards.

Umm. It's a good start, I'll give you that. First of all, you gotta get to your opponent somehow right? You'll dash to your opponent. What you described isn't the technique. I think you have the rear spinning low kick confused a bit. It's literary like a sweep kick. You're sweeping him off the floor by his feet, off the ground. I feel like you're trying too hard to get it right. How you described your move doesn't sound fluid and completely effective. You'll get better with your description. Here's my side of the technique:

House darts off towards the enemy and soon as within range, he slides below the dummy while performing a spinning low right kick, going from right to left to kick him off balance. Once connected, your dummy will probably fall behind, off balance. As House slides, he keeps his left leg tucked underneath him while support from his left hand behind him to push himself up as soon as he swept the dummy off the ground.

I may have gone off a little from the cannon but the technique is the same. I'm doing a sweep kick. Now try again.

Satoshi dashes towards the clone at a base speed of 6. As soon as he comes in range, he stoops low towards the ground and below the clones knees. Satoshi delivered a swift and clean sweeping kick to the clones ankles, from right to left, which would immediately throw it off balance and send it flying backwards. He then popped himself back up with his left arm by pushing hard enough with a sufficient amount of explosion.

You don't need to specify your speed haha. Just say you're dashing. Also, try to describe your moves more fluidly. Haha you said "Sufficient amount of explosion" xD like you'd have bombs under your palms. Alright, so far so good but I'll make you better as we're going along.

(Gangeki) - Rock Attack
Rank: D
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: The user will strike their opponent with a strong punch to the chest

(Kodzuku) Punch
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply use one of his hands to deliver a simple punch by clenching his fist and swinging his arm. The user is free to do variations of a basic frontal punch and the technique though simple, can be deadly for strong users.

These two techniques above both states strong punches to the body. I'd like you to perform them, swing your arms a bit at my dummy here. Practice your description and make it more fluid.

Satoshi analyzed the clone as he tightly clinched his right fist which were dangling by his waist. He then prepared to deliver the punch by elevating his arm and bending his elbow while pulling his arm back. As he he was doing so, Satoshi inhaled smoothly before placing his right foot ahead of his left and leaning in while extending his arm. On impact, the clone would take a few steps back and clench his chest.

As the clone had its hand on its chest, Satoshi darted towards it while clinching his left had into a fist. He then brought his arm up and swung it from his left to his right which his elbow bent in a fashion that made his arm resemble a hook. The attack caused the clones head to turn due to the force.

Immediately after that strike, Satoshi jumped backwards and began to run towards the clone to get more power into his next move. He then launched himself into the air by pouncing off of the ball of his left foot before folding his left knee backwards and extending his right leg. This caused Satoshi to soar through the dojos atmosphere for a brief second before meeting the clones midsection with a flying kick, sending it rolling through the room until it met the wall. Satoshi then extends his left leg first allowing him to catch his balance and land.

I'm pretty impressed. Your description is way better and way more fluid but there's always room to improve. Also, as we're going along, if you feel the need to (if you want to make sure you're performing the techiqiue right) you can perform them but you dont need to. Sometimes I'll ask you but I'd like to make it a discussion based. I feel like the description is enough in the techique,

(Hirateuchi) Slap
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with an open hand, slapping him. It can also be used for defensive purposes to slap incoming limbs or weapons.

Okay, why is this, in your opinion, the simplest form of taijutsu? And also, can you slap away kunais enhanced with chakra with this?

(Kikku) Kick
Type: Offensive
Rank: D
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 20
Description: One of the simplest moves in Taijutsu, the user will simply hit the opponent with a kick from one of his legs. He is free to choose simple variations of the kick and the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique is.

What does it mean by the stronger he is, the more dangerous the technique?

(Fōringu Hōyō) Falling Embrace
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 20
Description: The user runs at the enemy and tackles them, slamming them into the earth.

Okay, with this one, tell me why this technique isn't the best to use

Okay, with this one, tell me why this technique isn't the best to use

This is the simplist form of taijutsu to me because it seems as if it takes up the least amount of time and energy compared to more powerful strikes like a roundhouse kick. I think its possible to slap away kunai enhanced with certain types of chakra. for example , using it with wind or earth would be more plausible than fire since the wind can blow away the kunai and the earth can deflect it, but fire usually has no type of solid deflection properties.

I think it means that with more experience, the user can turn a simple kick into a finishing move . Also a person who is physically stonger stronger than the average ninja may pack more power with theire muscular legs .

Ok so this technique isnt the bestto use for multiple obvious reasons. The user is basically puttingh himself at risk by tackling their opponent. The user would have limited control ovetr their body while in mid tackle, leaving them vulnerable at multiple angles, mostly from below. an easy knee to the face would stop someone who is in mid tckle. Also , if sonmeone were to try to tackle me in a battle, i woould just use nagashi.

You're completely right. Also, as we're going through the training, I wanna see you learn more terms related to taijutsu. turning clockvise and landing a strong strike etc. Alright, C-ranks!

(Konoha Shōfū) – Leaf Rising Wind
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: This technique uses the entire body as a spring, by amassing power through taking a posture where the back of the body falls down. With this powerful taijutsu, the user kicks just above the head. Because the power of the kick from the ground is instantly converted into a blow, the enemy hit with this attack will be launched high into the sky.

Simple. This is an upward kick with your dominant leg done through springing your body up from the ground and lifting your dominant leg up to deliver the strike. As your dominant leg is doing the upward kick, your upper body leans back and kinka doing a vertical split. Just give me your opinion on it.

You must be registered for see images

(Asshō) - Pressure Palm
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user strikes their opponent with a downwards thrust striking them to the floor.

Alright, this is a simple downwards thrust, striking them into the ground. Tell me in what ways can you really downthrust someone?

(Shōgekishō) - Upwards Attacking Palm
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 30
Description: The user strikes their opponent with an upwards thrust into the abdomen lifting them into the air.

Alright, a straightfoward thrust into the air lift into the air. Make a combo attack on my clone with Leaf rising wind and upwards attacking palm for me.

I like this technique since its a decent strike and it launches the opponent into the air, leaving the vulnerable to more attacks. But if an enemy finds his way around my kick, it would put me in danger since my body is leaning back and my strong leg is in the air exposing my groin and my weaker leg (which is already in a bad position since all my body weight is resting on it) since someone can leg sweep me and really f*** me over.

I think you'd be able to down thrust someone if you are coming from an elevated position (ex: i jump from a tree and down thrust u one the way down). Another way is when the enemy is hunched over or crouched. A way to get an enemy hunched over is to strike them in the abdomen.

Satoshi would rush at the clone before planting his left food down and bringing his right foot back. He then swung his right leg forward , using the momentum from his earlier running to add more force and inertia to the kick he was planning to deliver. Now leaning backwards, he brought his leg all the way up , connecting the kick with the clones jaw , ultimately lifting it into the air. He then brought his right leg down and placed his left leg infront while bringing his right elbow back and bending his fingers to resemble an animals paw. He then forced his right arm forward while shifting to his dominant leg and launching the right side of his body into the the thrust. The strike would knock the airborne clone back even more

Ehh maybe because you're a Hyuga and hyugas fight with palm strikes.

A shoulder strike isn't good because you basically just throw yourself recklessly at the opponent and while all your weight is into the shoulder strike, it would be hard to counter an oncoming move.

Dashing directly towards the cloen, Satoshi had his mind set on one thing only.. .and that one thing was to break the clone's neck. Once in range, Satoshi would thrust his right arm forward, with his hand open yet his fingers being held together firmly. Satoshi continued to drive the palm strike into the clones stomach, resulting in it hunching forward from the blow. As the clone began to lean forward slighty , Satoshi wouldn't hesitate to grab the back of the clones head with both hands, intertwining his fingers to prevent an escape. He then forcefully pulled the clones head downwards as he quickly lifted his right knee into the clones face. THis strike would instantly break the clones nose , but it would still stand. The force from the knee would leave the clone dazed as
Satoshi would release his grip and bring his left leg stright upwards. This kick would connect with the clones jaw, ultimately launching it upwards. The clone was now airbourne and falling backwards with its back facing the ground. The look in Satoshi's eyes mimicked the look you'd commonly see on a lionness as she would be going in for the kill on her prey. A grin would seep across his face, leaking to his left cheek before jumping into the air after the clone. Satoshi would wrap his arms around the legs of his target tightly while also confining it's body by wrapping his legs around it. His legs would meet and intersect at the clones neck. " TOMBSTONE PILEDRIVER!!!!!!" The clones cranium would smash onto the surface with the added weight from the drop and Satoshi. Satoshi would then release his grip and utilise the clonees body to propel himself backwards in a backflip fashion before landing.

The advantage is that this jutsu restricts the opponent from using seals while they are in a dangerous perdicament, but the could use a surgwe technique to injure me since i am directly on them. I'd use this if i was knocking my opponent off of a high surface like a building or cliff.

Range:Short
Chakra Cost:N/A

Description: The user flips towards the opponent and attacks with a series of punches and kicks equaling 7 attacks.

You'll flip forward towards my dummy and you'll deal several punches and kicks which will add up to 7.

(Kage Buyō) - Shadow of the Dancing Leaf
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 5
Description: A technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful techniques like Front Lotus and the Lion Combo. That said, it also has a rather high degree of difficulty.

Alright, this is a weird one. You follow your opponent. Once you got close enough (from behind?) you'll perform a sweet upper kick that'll launch him into the air. I guess this is a combo starter right?

(Konoha Daisenpū) - Leaf Great Whirlwind
Rank: C
Type: Attack
Range: Short

Alright, you can use this after the shadow of the dancing leaf. Kick my dummy and low kick and middle kick and high kick then heel drop him into the ground.

Satoshi would do a front flip before landing right infront of his sensei's dummy. He then began to deliver a series of punches and kick in rapid succesion. Straight dbz style fightning.

After delivering the strikes to the dummy, Satoshi would swiftly would deliver an upper kick to the jaw of the dummy, launching it into the air. Satoshi would then jump into the air and float right under the now airborne dummy.

As Satoshi was in the clones shadow, he would shift his body weight to the left as he was bringing his right foot into the clones thighs. After landingthe first kick. he then placed his right palm on the clones back and used to to push his body weight to the right side before landing a harder kick to the targets stomach with his left foot. He would then return to his right leg onces more , driving his foot into the clones chest , sending it fying downwards onto the surface. Immediately after doing so, Satoshi would readjust his body to where he would be falling but as he was doing so , he would be rising his left foot upwards. He then would drop his heel into thje downed clones stomach before using it to backflip off of and land on his feet.

The opponent is first kicked into the air and shadowed with the Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Upon inflicting a blow, one takes advantage of said opponent's counterattack to spin around and rise again for further assaults. Since the fall is increased in velocity with each blow, the damage when one is eventually struck to the ground is inconceivable. All variations end with the opponent being thrown to the ground and kicked in the chest.

Alright, this requires the shadow of the dancing leaf that you just learned. You need your opponent in the air too. All you're doing with this is inflicting punches on your enemy as you're descending. And you'll end it with a punch to the chest.
